I know its a stretch but i'd love to find some places that have it available. I know a few places that serve the bottles at the bar but I dont have any where to buy to bring home. Would love to start a list in here.

Eagle Provisions on 5th ave and 18th st in Park Slope, Brooklyn have 2 bottles of Cantillon behind the register, but you're going to pay through the ass for them. I was there this morning and the prices were:

    Iris - $62
Other one (name escapes me right now) - $42

Sometimes bars like gingerman, mugs alehouse(Williamsburg), Spuytil Duyvel, Alewife(LIC) will sell bottle to go, but expect slightly inflated prices. I picked up a few 375ml bottle this way over the last year or so.

I think DBGB has it (bar/restaurant) but not sure if they would sell it to go.

C-town Astoria got a case of Gueuze about two weeks ago, $70 for a 750. Came in went in about a half an hour.

Wow! You're better off ordering from Belgium at that price. That's insane.

You're better off flying to Belgium for a case than paying $70/bottle. Unbelievable.

Kinda curious how a place like C-Town gets a case of Cantillon in the first place.

They get some amazing stuff there, must have a good relationship with the distributor. The beer guy told me Shelton Bros just surprises him every now and then.

What an absolutely absurd markup. Everything is just such a freakin cash grab with these bottle shops these days. smfh.

To be fair, this particular location consistently has some of the lowest prices on bottles, typically $2-3 less than the neighboring shops, and way less than the ones in Manhattan. Plus the beer guy there is really friendly and doesn't pull any shady reselling/package deals like other places (cough Brooklyn Fine Fare). Considering they sold out nearly instantly and I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen loons on the shelf here, maybe they weren't too out of line. That being said I certainly didn't buy at that price.

Fair enough--don't get me started on Brooklyn Harvest Market . Just sucks that its just gotten to the point where its almost cheaper to have someone buy beer elsewhere and ship it here.

Don't get too excited about the Vig on beermenus @ c-town right now, it's gone. Got there 45 min after posting and it was too late. R told me they got THREE bottles ($70 per)
