Yes this years release, sorry if my description confused you and you passed on it due to me calling it "double black" but that's what is says on the label. My job is all acromyns all the time so forgive me for trying to keep it simple.

Some franchisees do this with their advertising. XYZ Franchise cant afford to advertise vs McDonalds, so they enter into a co-op purchasing agreement with other franchisees, and buy in bulk.

SLL had 3 cases of CW BBBW out (6x 4-packs in a case). I didn't look at the year, but assumed it was 2016.

Has anyone seen BA George hunter stout from castle danger? I was under the impression the metro would be getting some this year.

 

What I've heard is that the beer didn't come out quite as expected and they decided late that they weren't going to bottle and distribute it. Although, some will be kegged and distributed to some on-sale accounts.

Great bottle hunt today, picked up 2 bottles of double black, one at knollwood liquor and SLP Byerlys.... while at Byerlys, I noticed 2 BCBS sitting on the counter behind the register. I ask who they were for and the cashier said no one. Very happy, especially bc I missed out on Black Friday this years

 

Top Ten WDBY just received their case of BADSDB when I stopped in around 2pm. Limit 1.

EDIT: They also had a bomber sale going on, up to 20% off... Snagged a Big Bad Baptist.
