Carton Brewing (February) 2016

Just a FYI, as of tonight @7 Joe Canals of W. Deptford still had some cans of
077 & Sit Down Son. Went in for Boat had to "settle" O'Dub lol!!!

 

@augiecarton Will 07750 or any of the 077 variants go out to the retail shops that carry Carton cans or is this Brewery only?

so far boyle's has 07750 for retail.
the answer isn't really yes or no. i'd like to sort a way for the community with the specific zips to be able to get their dubviant at at least 1 of their stores with very little effort, but there is no distribution plan per se.
as you know we are more "directive" guys than "planning" guys. the directive remains "let's keep it as simple and drama free for jersey people and ourselves as possible." for some reason retail gets people more wound up than our place or the bars, but we continue to make plans and see how they work. it's ever changing

 

Just wanted to mention that I had my second 07750 last night and it's fantastic. I had it after a TH Very Green and thought the 07550 was clearly the superior brew.

 

The fact that you are caring about that makes me happy. I think you've done an amazing job lately with all of your releases and look forward to more!

 

The 07750 is fantastic. I really wish this one was canned on the regular.

 

@augiecarton was planning on coming in at noon tomorrow, I know you can't know for sure, but chances 07750 cans will still be available?

Actually I'd love to see the opposite (although I know it's not practical). I live near the Cloverleaf and drink 07006 all the time but have never had any of the others. Would be great to see them pop up in some stores but I guess I'll be hitting the brewery more in the next few months to try the different variants.

 

Carton 077xx is awesome, and Carton 07750 is amazing. Stopped by this brewery last saturday picked up 4 four packs and they were canned 2.4.16. Amazing!

 

yo know my answer to that is never gonna change... tasting room availability is posted on FB wednesdays and saturdays... sorry but tonight is the friday of a three day weekend, what if every Monmouth county grad student in the world comes home to do laundry and stops by for a beer? very unlikely but it would change tomorrow no matter what we have on hand today. i am never comfortable saying what will be there till we have seen some flow... i will say i hope so, i hate running out

 

but what if when we do can 077-07006 you miss it entirely because only 3 cases go to caldwell so we can spread it around? these are small runs, there is only so much. while we grow let monmouth beach have theirs, caldwell have theirs for now and we will continue to work on growing

 

@augiecarton is an in house canning line in your expansion plans or do you always plan on using iron heart?

hard to say here. the expansion plans are an ever changing torture. right now i'm contending with bedrock, how we handle that may very well change the plan, again

 

I am saying I've had 07006 a lot and can always drink it on tap whenever I want, so I wouldn't be upset to miss out on cans hitting my area, but would love to be able to get cans of the other variants I don't get to try. And I would think those in other areas feel the same and would love to see in cans what they can't get on tap at their local bar. Looks like I will be in Atlantic Highlands more and more as these are released so I can get my hands on all of them. Appreciate the replies Augie!!!!

 

Hey, we buried that. I'm not gonna hash it up, I think if you go back to our offline conversations it had more to it than that. I have 077XX in my fridge now along side like 6 other can offerings.

 

just having fun man, i have no jokes that aren't jokes worth beating well beyond sense

 

i get it, but remember you are talking to a guy that puts jersey on everything he does. for me if there was a can for my town and i didn't get it it would frustrate me far more than missing some random beer for some other guy's town. its just that jersey locals shore thing i guess.
all that being said you know we dragged some dubviants to the last big carton thing at cloverleaf right?
