Best IPA Available from the LCBO

Only one bottle left in St. Catharines. A little too far to drive in my conditiuon :-)

 

Haven't had that one but if that's local for you have some great pub options around you. Brux and the Winking Judge to start. Some rare stuff served there every time I'm in town.

The Hammer. Hamilton. I thought you were saying that NB was your local brewery. They took over the old Lakeport Brewery and share the facility with Collective Arts. Went to therir grand opening in the Fall. Was a good party. You could walk freely through the whole brewery and they had beer stations throughout. Maybe 7-8 different stations each with a different selection of their beers.

 

No, I have been to the NB Brewery, but I purchased the beers at the local LCBO.

 

I gave Ransack the Universe a try yesterday...man, what a hot mess. First off, with 2 date on the can, this was either canned early Jan of beginning of Feb. Ugh. No hops, just one malty mess.

 

Just picked up a six pack of Smuttynose Finestkind IPA from the beerstore. Not bad. I find it tastes quite a bit like FatTug. Apparently it was just added about a month ago. Not saying it is in the GLB league but I think it's worth a try.
