Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2016 Edition

I just bought a bomber of lightspeed, a four pack of CW BBBW and a four pack of Sue for the same price.

 

Star Liquor in MG had a few bottles of BADSDB limit one as of like 5 yesterday. Didn't get around to posting until now sorry!

 

Anybody find 2016 Loonidragon yet?

 

I was told they're releasing Loonidragon next week.

 

And head a little farther down Bass Lake and up Boone and come to G-Will Brooklyn Park!

 

Any word on KBS distro? Also, unrelated to MN bottle hunt, but did CW BB Cherry release yet? I know they had a release calendar but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Back on topic:

Haskell's downtown had plenty of CW BBBW, 2/3 Lightspeed, and 1/29 Sue. Lots of Nein still hanging around there too!

 

KBS is 4-1, according to founders.

Really?! I had no idea about this. Was this confirmed by Surly? It was late July/early August last year.

 

I believe it has been posted a few times. I however heard it from France 44 the other weekend, they said that is what was talked about when Omar and company were in house for the tap take over.

 

I have heard March as well, from multiple people. Apparently it is going to be available much more frequently.

 

I assume you mean tasting event.

 

They did take over the taps in the wine shop, but yes, that event.

 

You guys. I'm so freaking excited.

 

To add a cherry on top, they also said it sounded like Todd would be available from March to around November. I really hope that is a true.

 

I do as well as long as we can get fresh beer. What has been going on with so many stores (good ones too) still carrying November Abrasive in mid-February is really disappointing.

 

It is not completely the stores fault and more so the distributor. France 44 said they had turned away a few shipments because the date on the can was older than the date on the cans they had. They can ask for fresher canning dates, but they are kind of at the mercy of the distributor.

It will definitely be a problem, hopefully a balance can be found. I would be fine with a month or so old, but it would suck to only see April or May canning date in August.
