Presidents Day off. Snowing like crazy. Watching the Walking Dead on DVR. Drinking a DFH Higher Math. Ahhhhhh.

 

Happy President's Day BA! Put me in the group who thinks this is better than last year's, though enjoying on a Monday afternoon when I'd otherwise be working might bring a bit of bias. Cheers!

 

The worst beer you ever had? Are you sure you are rating to style? Perhaps you aren't familiar with Pale Pilsners.

 

Grapefruit Sculpin unless ultra fresh may be dead to me, because 12 of these for the same price as 6 of those.

 

Had a sore throat yesterday, so finally getting around to my planned Valentine's Day beer. A delicious Sump varient with Burundi coffee beans out of Africa.

Enjoying a day off of work. Just got done shoveling the snow from the driveway. Seems like a perfect time to crack open a beer. 4 Hands Constellation. I have to say, this is not bad, but it doesn't even come close to the excellence that was Super Flare.

 

Light snow shoveled and precipitation has stopped fir now. Maybe we'll be lucky and miss the sleet and freezing rain.

Another theme beer, but we'd probably be drinking this even if it were named something different. Alewerks Bitter Valentine - a nice leaning towards balanced beer, but it is a grapefruit pith-based DIPA that is mighty tasty.

 

Great beer and great music! I will be seeing them in concert soon.

Quiet day, shoveling snow was the most eventful thing and that's fine by me

Happy to see this and the coffee stout make their way into the regular Ithaca line-up.

 

This should have been called "Watermelon Rind Dorado". I get no sweetness from the watermelon, just bitter rind taste and an extreme vegetable smell. I'm a damn fool for buying a whole 6 pack of this. The other 5 will have to parceled out to unsuspecting friends or maybe just left at someones house the next time I stop by. What an utterly gross beer.

 

Got my over hopped saison to bottle, enjoying a way too big of a bottle of Eviltwin Bozo Beer, pretty drinkable for 17.2%, but feel it would benefit from some age, cheers!

 

Starting today with my first Elysian, Space Dust (4.45).



Made a beer run (100 mile round trip) this morning, got the wife's work laptop working (in spite of their help desk ) and it's time to settle in with some drinking and tunes with you fine people on this Manic Monday.

 

Drinking another Backwoods Bastard. I bought a bunch when I could. Now I've got work to do.
