Was in the neighborhood so thought I'd pop in quickly again for 5oz pour...Impervious Stout:

 

Good afternoon - Presidents Day Edition - WBAYDN!! Hope everyone's day is going great and your Valentine's Day is full of romance and all of that junk.
Finally crackin' one of these mofo's open! Been in the fridge since Saturday when my Pops brought me a sixer, should've asked for a twelve-er!

So of course we gotta have one each....for now it's one each!

Been loving some dopplebocks lately.

Tasty and aromatic in such a wonderful way.

 

Nice long visit to Seattle for the weekend, had a couple competitions to go to. Started off with these two the first night. I hadn't had Olympia since college, it was one of my favorite AAL, still is;


This one was ok, a little too bitter for me


Took the throwers out to see the snow. The first time for 2 of them, it was great to see their excitement. At the competiton, we had 6 personal bests, so proof that positive reinforcement works!

Later that night, had a few other gems down at Chuck's. Started off with Boneyard RPM, great NWIPA


Stoup Haymaker IIIPA, had an interesting malt character, but still good


Finished with Crater Lake Root Beer (non alcoholic), hands down best Root Beer I've ever had


This was the beginning of our last day, UW's campus is beautiful when it's not raining and cold

Valentine's Day breakfast consisting of chocolate crepes stuffed with cream cheese and strawberry with a chocolate sauce (yes I made it), dinner out with the baby and wife at Undici in Rumson for some bomb pasta bolognese, play time today with the baby at a play cafe, now relaxing with a previous years Valentine's Day gift; Choklat, with a bit over 3 years on it, divine...

Happy President's day, it's great to have a Monday off. Enjoying this boozy goodness, while watching the snow accumulate again.

 

Snow has started falling. Time for another beer.

 

trust me, he's plotting new ways to stick his face in my beer. I'm afraid if I get up to go pee he'll be drinking away. I have to make sure I don't leave bottles with beer in them around, otherwise he'll knock them over and have a drink.
