I would love to see what people have to say about the craft beers they would put on this list. Lets keep it simple and use up to 5 beers for this list.

Pliny, SNPA, BCBS have to be on there. The other 2 spots are debatable

Great and challenging question. For me it's:
    Hoegaarden Original White Ale
    Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
    Sam Adams Boston Lager
    Unibroue La Fin Du Monde
    Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier

Pliny- Whatever your opinion of this beer is (I love it), you have to admit its a legend.

Bigfoot- SNPA is the signature, Bigfoot is the gift. Accessible, delicious, and cellars well. Putting one of these away every year is a pre-req to a beer geek grad school.

Westy 12- "The Best Beer in the World"

Dark Lord- For me this is the beer that started the hype train for releases. Whatever you think of that phenomenon, its part of the life.

Cantillon Classic Gueze - "Haven't developed a taste for sours? Guezes? Try this..." MIND BLOWN.

Isn't naming a beer with extremely limited distribution the equivalent of placing a local politician on Rushmore with a President?

    The first three are easy:
    Pliny
    SNPA
    S.A. Boston Lager
I would put BCBS up there but then I would sand blast them off when they bought by Bud.

I will get back to you about the last 2 spots. (in contention are Arrogant Bastard, Pete's Wicked, 60 Minute, Anchor Steam)

Pliny's reach goes far beyond its distribution footprint. It is an icon and leaving it off would be like saying Washington doesn't belong because he was only president for 13 States.

For me, the beers have to have tenure, and be reasonably well available. Meaning, I probably bought it in a grocery store 15 years ago.

Pliny, etc aren't in that category.
