only my second yr having juju, but damn is it tasty.
last time it was older, more amber-y and first tones of "bubblegum" I'd ever forewardly picked up.This year I'm getting piney grapefruit eucalyptus. Well done indeed. Making me not miss new england quite as much.

three "new" BG beers this week:

The first of our two Wednesday releases is Inquisitive Visitor (pictured above), a fresh and funky saison made with Pennsylvania spelt from our homies over at Deer Creek Malthouse. Showcasing an undeniably farm-y yeast blend we haven't previously worked with, Inquisitive Visitor tastes as though we've not only dry-hopped it Falconer's Flight, but also with half a barn.

Alongside Inquisitive Visitor is Legendary Weapons, a lush and incredibly well-balanced haze machine of an IPA that rings in at 6.1% ABV. It's as soft and juicy as many of our other hop-forward offerings, with big flavors of fresh melon and a mild, crisp bitterness.

Our third new release, Prototype 13: Tropical IPA, will be available on Saturday. Similarly to Inquisitive Visitor, this one features a new yeast strain that should add a unique complexity to an aggressively-hopped IPA.

You know the London Beer Flood of 1814? I just caught wind that a bright tank of Hop Juju ruptured in Portland, killing an 8-person jug-&-mandolin band & destroying a raw foods ricksha.

(on a serious note: brewery accidents are no laughing matter)

I wouldn't sweat it. It's wicked tasty, no doubt, but it's nothing you haven't had before.

Are we talking just me or do I need to set up a system to count how many times all beer worker together were asked?

Yeah, that's probably true but it is a beer that I'll seek out the next time it makes its rounds. I can't believe I haven't come across it.

GEMD Robinson has about 30-40 cases of Juju on display as well. But not nearly as creative as @randylangford !!

little snippet from Troegs' email update...thought the bold part sounded interesting...probably a brewery only release though :slight_frown:

Last month, we announced plans for our Splinter Cellar and the addition of three new foeders to expand our Splinter Beer Series of wood-aged beers. We’re excited to release a few Splinter Beers over the next few months leading up to the completion of the Splinter Cellar in early June. The first release will be barrel-aged Troegenator, available exclusively at the brewery in 375mL cork & cage bottles on Monday, February 29. We’ll release a few other Splinter Beers over the next few months, including Wild Elf, our first foeder experiment featuring sour cherries harvested locally from Peter’s Orchard. Tune in to troegs.com as well as our social media channels for all the latest Splinter Series news and announcements.

I haven't had Hop Juju before so please excuse the ignorance (i will rectify this promptly). For those who love the beer, what do you love about it? Is it a West Coast style IPA? I enjoy Head Hunter a lot, how does it differ?
