I wish we would get a Nando's here. I love the spicy skewers and the rice side. The one I went to in Toronto a few weeks ago had a decent draft selection, I hadn't been to one with beer before.

 

The whiskey/wine barrels we use for aging Love Child beers have been previously used to age beers like Imperial Stout, Bourbon Barrel Quad or Rye-on-Rye. Since they're usually second or third use barrels, we're not looking to impart any spirit/wine character in the beer, but the TTB (before changes were made to the list of exempt ingredients/processes) required us to specify which type of barrels were used on the label.

 

I can't remember when dating started but but about 6 weeks ago, I put some dated good vibes bottles into the mixed six at my store to move them before the date. What you got at must have been an older batch than that. If the beer lead is doing there job than there should not be out of date beer on the shelf but if there is no date there is no crime. How would anyone above know how old it is? Wish I could help more but it is an issue with that store.

Oh, totally understood. Like I said, I knew I was taking a gamble on it, it just turned out to be a bad move. GESH has their fair of issues for sure. This just happens to be a common one.

 

I would add to check out Brewers Art. Always enjoyed the meals and beers ive had from there
