In the face of being tacky for quoting yourself, wanted to correct this--overlooked that this isn't a case of bombers (they're 12s). Interest in four thus far, but I'm willing to part with another couple if anyone wants; PM me. Thanks.

Yeah, I was at Spoonwood for the first time a couple weekends ago to meet some friends and went in cautious because of all the flak they've gotten here. Had the Undead Goon, whatever their barleywine was called, and Cold Drip City. I thought all 3 were pretty good.

I wish i had a good explanation for it. Some creeper made it out of latex and i happened to stumble upon it. It is certainly the stuff nightmares are made of.

Thanks i had posted there but not seen anything yet. I'll look a little more closely there. If anyone hears of any saturday tickets send em my way please.

Cool. I've been once and I never go down that way, but I'm meeting up with a buddy next weekend who lives right by there. I'd be curious to try Undead Goon if they do growler fills of it.

Yes and their growler set up is pretty sweet with a counter pressure fill system.

They have a fill station and (full) growler pricing to the rightmost on the beer menu; nothing for halfsies but can't confirm they don't do it.

Hey, everyone. I appreciate the feedback and interest. I figured I ought to point out that we are down to a tiny bit of Undead Goon, like a fraction of a 1/2 keg. But that new Caliente collabo stout will be up at 11:30 am Friday.

I did stash a 1/6 keg of Goon for a rainy day or PCBW. I'd entertain a BA get together with that 1/6 if there were interest.

As for growlers, we will fill any type, including 32 oz. But we fill only the standard 64 oz. jug on the counter-pressure machine.

There has been a lot of talk about tastings in this thread lately, but it seems no headway has been made. I think we should seriously take up @SpoonwoodBrewingCo on their offer to host. Thoughts? Anyone want to spearhead this?

Would definitely be interested in something like this, as it's proximate to me. This could satisfy the burgeoning cries for a bottle share and potentially get the donation box together as well.

But Spoonwood is like... A tunnel and at least five bridges away. What do I look like, Christopher Columbus?

Dear South Hills: build a two (god forbid three) lane road without lights every 500 feet.

Haha, so this. I live down the street from Spoonwood but have to drive out to Southpoint for work. That means my daily work commute through the South Hills consists of going through 16 street lights each way. Going to work has almost become like a video game for me.

And you'd have to come all the way from Cranberry... Jesus. Two or three of the people in your party would probably die on the trek. It's like Oregon Trail.

kbuzz died from dysentery. You also lost two oxen when you tried to fjord the river.
