The Giant Eagle on Rte. 30 in Irwin has a respectable beer section, if my memory served me.

Stopped at Spoonwood to try the ba stout since somebody here said it was good. Apparently it kicked last night. The two beers I did try were horrible as usual, including the caliente collab.

On a positive note, I also made my first visit to insurrection. Hoppy beers were pretty good, I would recommend a visit. Sour/gose/farmhouse isn't my thing, so didn't try any of those.

How much are cases of SMS running? I was surprised to find 4pks at GE shadyside for less than 15 per after tax. Selection was crazy good there yesterday. Hop juju on tap and in bottles, plenty of SMS, black ops (never had but it seems to get some attention), La Folie and tons of other good stuff.

That was me. Sorry you missed it. I thought the bba stout was excellent, but then again I also really enjoyed the bottle of 2 Minutes to Midnight I had, so y'know...

PM me if you want the recipe... Super easy... just like all the other beers. Just need a cast iron skillet and some knox gelatin.

**Edit** Crap....almost forgot. Cascade hops....lots of em.

Went to draai laag tonight. I'm not the biggest fan of their beers, but the relic was a really well made beer with a great classic Belgian finish (think duvel). Didn't really care for petite ferme and apples and pears though. Also had momo for the first time, and it was decent but definitely not up to the level that roundabout is at.

I've had cans of LaCroix that had more flavor than this one.

Cant wait. Their wilside series is overlooked. They make some really good beers that are draft only at the brewhouse or pub on Butler. People I talk to just ends up trying the bottled n00b stuff like white lightning and chinookie and dismiss them fir all future offerings. That wildside pub is probably my favorite "bar" between the two rivers.

Wildside rules, but it's kind of disappointing that Full Pint's best beers can only be found there.

I'm sure they could change that if they forsaw it a profitable venture/ wanted to.
    Until then, more for me.

Full Pintt sends those beers out to bars as well, they just don't bottle them.

Agree. While I've seen FP offerings in packs at places like Pig Iron more recently, have been used to seeing them in/around Hershey/Harrisburg for some time, including the wild/funky stuff.
