Holy mother you must really like gueuzes! I mean Cantillon's gueuze is a fine one, but the trade value is so high on anything of theirs I'd be sacrificing a few. However it looks like you've got a huge number of scratched-off bucket-list type brews so you're in that blissful state of knowing what you like, stocking up on it, and enjoying it leisurely. I imagine that's a nice place to be in.

 

Yep. Also, given the Geuzes will age and evolve for 10+ years I have a long time to drink them all! The fruits won't, but they don't have long on this earth... If they bottled things like Golden Blend more often, I would think about letting some go, but for a lot of these beers they get bottled once every 2 or 3 years, so it isn't like you get the chance to buy more very often...

I picked up some Massachusetts beers in Massachusetts.

 

Brought back some stuff from Seattle;

 

Stopped at the store to get some ribs to grill in this awesome weather here in Illinois. Figured I would wander over to the beer section. 5 short minutes later, I had this mixed 6-pack. Score!

A lot of drama surrounding this release for some reason.
I had a blast, went with a friend and had an enjoyable time waiting beforehand. Not so much a haul but a special purchase nonetheless. Bottle limit was 4 but I didn't see the need for that many so I snagged two and then tried a few Holy Mountain beers on tap. Fun time overall.

"Raided" my semi-local bottle shop, which for years now I always assumed was a Spanish restaurant due to its name (La Bodega) and logo. Seriously bummed that I had no idea this place existed, and have always had to depend on BevMo and Total Wine (which wins in price, but not always selection).

Some of these items were on sale and picked over, which points to the lack of craft beer consumption around here and makes me think I may find a few gems now and then.
