Really good growler and RS32 options lately, got a 'never thought I'd see a Melange 1 fill' today and will be glad to crack it open later.

I'm so glad to be reading about these ukulele opinions. I hated it for lack of a better word. It was way too spicy for me. The heat mixed with a sour just wasn't pleasant. My girlfriend like it so I stored the other bottle. Hopefully it calms down after a while and I'll give it a second chance.

On first sip I thought Ukele was decent but that lingering burn was way over the top. Not a fan.

As long as I still get my allocation with a guaranteed window to buy them, I'm OK with this.

Full disclosure, I'm not a beer trader and most likely never will be. I'm in RS so I don't need to stand in lines, participate in online clickfests, or run around town looking for a beer from the Bruery that I'm interested in. For me RS is all about getting the first shot, in a convenient way, at good beers The Bruery releases. After that, I really don't care how many other people have access to the beer.

The upside to being a society member is you kind of lose the desire to wait in line for anything. You wont catch my ass out on black friday waiting for BCBS.

I thought FDR was decent but the bubblegum flavor was too strong. It's faded and mellowed so I enjoyed it more. Definitely not bad, just different.

I'd be down for some Mocha Wednesday with coconut. Maybe call it Coco Weenesday. Was going to go with Coca Wednesday but have to save that for the cocaine version.

Wasn't that January? Or do you mean a second release?

I for one am not excited about all these new hoppy beers. Rye and Bear will not be coming home to me.

@mattolesh Ride the Bear has the description for Humulus Rye. No big deal, just thought you guys might want to fix that.

That's weird. It was updated before the item went live. Maybe try clearing your browser's cookies?

    Give it another try!

    Cheers,

I'm having an Alligator Char Arbre right now and it's delicious... I don't get these negative reviews.

I agree. All three were great. I'm in the mindset that reviews on a website, even one you have to sign up for, are all pretty much going to be shit. Spend 20 minutes on Yelp and you'll agree, the majority of people giving their opinions are idiots.

I was expecting this acrid harshness I've read about, but I don't taste a bit of it. It's nice and charred oak-y.
