Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

Blue BBLs, Confession 15/16, White Mocha, and Oude Tart Cherries are up right now. Good month.

 

Painful month. Those are all must haves.

 

My wife is going to be really upset at me this month.

Has any beer the Reserve Society been able to grab not filtered down to the Preservation Society? Also, if they filter down to the PS why not open it up for the RS members to buy a few more as well?

 

Agreed. Pricey as hell month. But a fantastic one too.

 

Because that is what makes us RS.

Not sure how it officially usually works but we get a second chance on more bottle before you peasants get anything.

 

Looks like filmishmish is available for growler fills. Awesome!

 

I really wish they would lower the bottle limits. I have no self control and I am looking at another $500+ month

Incredible. Not as good as 2013, but damn fine. Had one two weeks ago.

 

Maxing. Because beer.

 

Not a white wine drinker so I didn't dig it... But other people I had it with loved it. Great, so the bottle wasn't wasted on me and I opened melange 1.

 

Excited to hear reviews about White Mocha

 

It's good, but I had it the same day as Borgogne Blanc and it paled in comparison. I gave both to people who only drink wine at a party we threw. Those people weren't crazy about Confession, but BB converted them.

 

Unrelated to the releases, has anyone experienced leaking issues with the new Miir growlers? I had mine filled for the first time last week (at an out-of-state brewery while traveling) and it leaked. I also filled Rare Barrel's growler, but that maintained the seal. Curious if mine is an anomaly or if others have experienced this too.

 

Feels like I barely just got my 2015 Confessions in and here we are for 2016.

 

Yeah. Mine was sent filled with delicious Alpine and extensively taped and leaked out into the trash bag my trustee put it in. Completely flat and probably 2 ounces in the bag. Amazed considering how well it seemed like it should have been sealed.
