@mattolesh - Did you guys really change it so HS can only get 2 tickets this year? We can't do 4 like previous years?

I already bought mine! Also already have a plane ticket and hotel reservations. I'm very excited to participate in this. Hopefully I'll meet some of you guys at the event.

Yes, that is the case this year. I want to say a whole bunch more right now, but I can't share many of our specific (and exciting) plans quite yet. I can say that we're making a few improvements this year, largely based of member feedback from past years' events. I do truly think everyone there will be happy about the changes in the end. That's is our main focus, after all.

The other Hoarders Society benefits [early entrance and exclusive beers] are still intact and we're deciding on ways to build on those benefits for an even better experience, despite the lower ticket limits. I apologize if this causes an major inconvenience with anyone. I'm also happy to discuss this or any other event details further. Y'all know how to get a hold of me .

    Cheers,

Does this sell out before the ticket deadline typically?

So if as an out of stater I could only make one event, is this the one to do?

I don't recall this ever selling out. Maybe Matt can confirm but I think this is the one event where everyone can buy tickets since the venue can accommodate thousands of people.

In again this year. Now just to hope that the train schedule works out since that was the best thing ever. Train from Solana Beach, walk past the pond, flip off the ducks (the team, not the aquatic animal), festival, walk back to train station while making more obscene gestures at the ducks (again, the team..the animal is awesome), train back to solana beach while drowning selves in water, and then post game at pizza port.

We could be close to seeing each other in the playoffs again. Who knows, maybe there will be a game that night!!!!

Does anyone know if PS members will get a chance to buy tickets, if they dont sell enough to HS/RS?

Last year they did a lottery to give 50 PS members the chance to buy 2 tickets each. Probably safe to say they'll do it again this year, given the changes they've been making to PS and the reduced ticket limit for HS members.

Sweet. I'm poised and ready to buy tickets but my friend who splits the membership with me needs some time to figure if he can attend so we were going to hold off on buying tickets.

I think this blows. It's been 4 tickets since Hoarders began. It's been hard to defend why being a Hoarder is a big deal, so taking away benefits that were there before do not help. I get that the membership grows and you want to make sure everyone enjoys, but this is a let down. I hope the early entry doesn't go too.

Does anyone remember if there were Hoarder pours last year other than Reserve? Which, by the way, was not regulated and given to many others.

Don't remember anything suggesting Reserve was a Hoarders pour last year

Okay, so I saw in The Bruery's Instagram that Hoarders still have early entry.

You're right. I don't see it in my emails from last year either. So basically, we just in an hour early.... As a refresher of the first time Hoarders had exclusive benefits, we had:

    Exclusive food provided by Haven
Exclusive casks in a separate room that required a separate band to gain access
    4 tickets

I'm not trying to be all high and mighty, just trying to understand why have Hoarders distinction at all?

Maybe wait to see what they have in store before assuming it's a direct downgrade? If they're dropping the number of tickets per person in order to provide a far better experience, it might not be a bad thing...
