Agreed. I guess that's why I didn't bother naming the brewery. I think he has a lot of experience in process and quality control -- which is exactly what Olde Main needs.

 

Unless PT hyvee has more or I didn't see another stack, I took their last grapefruit sculpin 6 pk of cans. Plenty of other goodies there though for sure.

 

I had Jacob break up a 6pk into singles so I could just try one, so those are probably still around. Grunion looked mighty low when I grabbed my 6pk. HHG was also gone though with Illumination and what all is hitting market it's tough to complain, plus HHG is a 3 month seasonal from CW so hopefully there will be subsequent shipments.

 

I rode around Minneapolis to various places during the opening Friday of the tournament last year and it was a blast. Have fun!!!

Bottled late January in the variety pack, didn't check the six pack. Also make sure you get the manufacturers coupon, it'll save you $7 on a case.

 

Looks like we might be headed to Dubuque tomorrow instead to hit up hiking. Any good places to grab a beer afterwards? Bonus points if there's an outdoor patio that might allow well-behaved dogs (but not a necessity as they would probably crash in the car for a bit).

 

I've eyeballed Four Star Pils in the stores a couple times since it's gotten down to $7.99/six. Still have yet to purchase. Will have to look for the coupon. Started as draft only but we have had the 6pks in the DSM metro for a month or two now. Easy to miss with as many new beers are coming out lately.

 

I've never been but there's Jubeck New World Brewing. Buddy of mine heads up there from the QC. He says it's good but he wired the place so who knows.

 

I did see that and the Untappd reviews didn't seem very flattering.

 

It's only a little over an hour from Dubuque to New Glarus. Just sayin'.

 

Check out Lot one, good food and very good beer selection. Don't remember if they have a patio.

If you want to hit a bottle shop, Family Beer & Liquor in East Dubuque has a nice selection, plus it's Illinois so there's stuff we can't get in Iowa.
