Incidentally, this removes the state of Oregon from play for the moment. Much strategery will ensue as a replacement is pondered.

I gotta get back out to the PNW. I spent a week or so in Portland a few years back, but would like to explore more!

Good point. I have to admit my initial crestfallen feeling was quickly supplemented by the notion that I could now drink this beer myself!

    Nice Haul!
Another target in this event will get at least 4 of the beers in this line-up.

Are you MN guys in Minneapolis? I go there a few times a year for work related stuff, I'd buy you a beer on the company dime next time! @garymuchow @Josholson666

Spammy shares a very interesting beer with me but is covered with a very special blanket to help keep him warm on cool nights.

I live outside the metro, but work in Eagan, which is a suburb near the airport and the future home of the Vikings workout facility.

Ok, finally home. The GF stayed home so that the delivery man wouldn't attempt to put the package on the porch (she heard me talking about it). My sender was, of course, @RoninTK3 (at least I am 99.99% sure ). Here's what I got home to:

Th cats know there's something good in there. Point #1: as good as the brews were, the packaging was their equal in a relative sense. A certain someone who will remain nameless may see this packaging in another week or so .

Oh, you can't tell what those beers are? Maybe you'll have to wait a few Sundays to find it out over time. or....

Note: the Ocelot growler in the background is mine (and empty :slight_frown:), although...

Found that interesting, and ironic :grinning:. And no, I have never had it.

Anyhow, big thanks to @RoninTK3 (or whomever ) for this wonderful box of goodies. Might jump the gun on one or two of these in NBS before the main event. I'll be sure to save enough to dedicate all the beers that day to this box.

    Jealous???? :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice. I'm usually stuck at a hotel in Mendota Heights. I take the train into downtown, Surly, and Town Hall, but have yet to make it into St. Paul.

Great Box! That Sebago BA BW is out of this world, my target may get some, hint, hint. Otter Creek RIS was a great choice too! I always forget to throw that one in! And you can never have enough Stoneface in your life.

Mendota Heights is next to Eagan. I gotta' an easy place in Eagan to meet where a good beer can be had.

No joke, Bellingham is an outstanding town to drink in, and I say that as someone who hasn't been there since most of the breweries in and around town have opened (though I have been highly drunk at Boundary Bay).

Ok, if that rug isn't a New Mexico clue, that I give up. @kemoarps I guess you're not my sender. @garymuchow is.

Good to hear! We stopped by Sebago when we were in Protland for SN Beer camp 2 years ago. We had a sampler, and oddly of the things I tried, the Simmer Down stood out as good for what it was. Otter Creek is the only other brewery I have had beers from - so this should be a fun few weeks .

9 active breweries, a couple more in process, and several bars with selections. Add in bottles for taking hiking, biking, boating, tubing, siting in the park, and dog walking, and we do OK.

Yeah, Simmer Down is a tasty session, but they have stepped up their game a ton in the last year or so. The BA BW, Hop Swap, Whistle Punk. All great and a step above their previous options!
