    You will have a few months to plan. Cliff Notes version, everyone throws their name in the hat, you get assigned a person, you stalk them (in person or not is your call), troll them with clues, send them local brews including 3 day old Pliny. We aren't drinking that week old malt bomb bull shit.

    I thought Pliny had already lost its cult status due to the Tree House/Trillium charge. I believe 249 of the Top 250 are hazy NE IPAs.

    Here I am anxiously waiting for my neighbor to get home so I can get my packge from beertunes. I got into town late last night and didnt want to disturb him...aka my wife wouldnt let me. Now my neighbor is still out at the bar and im sitting here like a dog waiting for my owner to come home. They say patience is a virtue, but I really dont care about that right now, i just need my BIF fix, haha.

    I think in this instance breaking & entering would be completely acceptable. After all, a BIF box is involved. The police might even render assistance if the severity of the situation is explained to them.

    Good thing I had my box delivered to work, where a forklift and hand trucks were readily available.

    Competitors consisted of:

    In the 12oz-can division there was: Creature Comforts Athena; Straight to Ale Monkeys Uncle; Chandeleur Brewing Curlews Coconut Porter (Yeah! 2 birds-one stone, a Mississippi brewery!); Trim Tab Brewing Pillar to Post Rye Brown; Orpheus Brewing Atalanta (a tart plum saison, yummers!) & Transmigration of Souls ImpIPA.

    In the 12oz-bottle conference were Blue Pants Pils; and Back Forty Brewing Trade Day Coffee stout.

    In the 22oz/750ml category entrants were: Straight to Ale Unobtanium; Westbrook Black Magic Panther; Straight to Ale Illudium; Straight to Ale Laika; Blue Pants Pinstripe, Coffee Milk stout; Blue Pants Alalambic, a peach lambic (hells yeah!); and Blackberry Farm Classic Saison.

    In the Swag league were a Straight to Ale T-shirt; an envelope of stickers; and (what may be my favorite item [at least until I start opening beers]) a piece of @richj1970 s childhood: a vintage Demarest P.D./ D.A.R.E seat cushion!!!!! Hells yeah, I'ma DARE to sit my ass on it and dranky some beers!

    After careful deliberation and voting, the winner is:




    BEERTUNES!!!!!


    Awesome box Rich. I'm looking forward to all these brews. And, seriously, the seat cushion was my favorite. I cracked up and just kept laughing the whole time I was unpacking the box. Thank you very much!

    I'll be text the pics off to @jhavs in a bit, and he'll put 'em up for me.

    Basically, you are given a target, and the goal is to send beers that are eligible for the NBS thread for the target (ie; a "new" beer to them). The minimum is 66-72 oz, in theory. But, in practice the minimum is really more like 100oz. And at least 1 piece of Swag (glassware, t-shirt, seat cushion, whatevs). Look for an announcement early Septemberish.
