For those interested ..I am told Thirsty Dog BA Maple Porter will be hitting distro to Cincy and probably safe to assume rest of Ohio.

It will be on High very close to the local Cantina. Biggest news is Big Mama's Burritos will be also located with Daily growler. For Athens ppl and frequent Jackie O's visitors will know how exciting that kinda news is.

 

Rhinegeist is distributing to Cleveland now, exclusively to Giant Eagle and IPAs only so far

 

Asked one of the guys at Mai Chai about Three Tigers Brewing (Granville, link) and was told that they are expecting to open within the next month. Really excited to have another nearby option around here.

 

Jungle Jim is doing 1 bottle limit on KBS this Friday at 8am

 

Great article, very interesting read. They picked a great roaster in Stauf's.

 

Giant Eagle is claiming it's exclusive, but I wouldn't bet on that.

 

Giant Eagle down here also claims the Columbus brewing Bodhi is coming soon... dont believe everything you hear.

International Record Store Day: JACKIE O'S TAP TAKEOVER! from 11:00am to 11:00pm
It's International Record Store Day and we're celebrating with Brad Clark, Brewmaster of Jackie O's! We will be doing a tap takeover of select Jackie O's brews and Brad will start spinning his own vinyl at 7pm!

 

Agreed. Some people don't know what they don't know. Any official info will come from the brewery.

 

On another subject, any idea when there might be an online or physical store for merch with the new branding? Give me the opportunity to buy a t-shirt to both promote the brewery and contribute to the cash flow needed to open the tap room!

So glad to see Keith Jackson getting away from Gordon Biersch. Guy makes some fantastic beers and is an all around great guy to talk to about brewing.

 

Saw @beace taking selfies at HH today. According to the twitter machine, they made this for late April release.
