    Just had a couple Goose Island IPAs at the local bar. Now splitting my last SN Southern Hemisphere with my wife. Next is Victory Hope Devils followed by SKA Hoptical Issusionand Caldera IPA

    I'll admit that right now I can't hang. I've never had a Genny Cream Ale and tonight is not the night for me to seek one out. So far I've had a quart growler of table saison, a black and tan made from stone 16th and marshal zhukov, and the rest of the bottle of the stone. I still need to find some way to finish the MZ or hand in my BA card and frankly Genny would just be too much for me tonight. You sir win a tip of my glass with the awesome Internet hulk hogan impression.

    I'm not a fan of strong lemon flavor in beer so I was pleased to find the lemon in this was subtle. Another excellent IPA from Stone.

    i had one of those glasses for literally one day. i spied it at an antique shop in plymouth MA where my girlfriend lives. she surprised me with it one day, and i was super happy because i thought the shape was really cool. so i drank a couple beers out of it, and when she went to wash it she accidentally banged it against her sink and it shattered. i was pretty bummed.

    Enjoying this while I roast a chicken and vegetables purchased from the Coventry Farmers Market. A lot of brewers sampling beer there this weekend. Tasties.

    ...and onto the Bourbon Barrel Aged Ommegang Three Philosophers

    I'd love to report that this was the greatest thing that ever passed through my lips, but truth be told, in a side-by-side tasting with the original...sometimes putting perfection in a barrel makes it less perfect. This is one of those cases. Definitely enjoying it, but stealing sips of what's left of my 2011 and finding myself yumming on those.
