Thursday Thursday is currently going on at Native Son and Noble apparently brought something called Cashmere Showers. I don't think I've ever heard of that kind of hop before.

Interesting.. never heard of it either. Could it be a reference to an actual hop?

Pupil, Apprentice, and Roustabout are top notch, though to your point I'd look forward to some new offerings from them.

From a DraftMag article a couple of years ago, makes me look forward to hopefully getting any bottles they run of this, "Cashmere
What it is: a cross between Cascade and Northern Brewer
What it’s like: This was the most unusual hop, and definitely the crowd favorite. Tropical coconut, peach and tangerine filled out the aroma, while a similar flavor profile paired coconut, melon, tangerine and lemongrass.
Style suited for? IPA all the way. Pair this with exotic Mosaic for an absolute tropical hop bomb."

I got the chance to drink some Cashmere Showers today after Friday's abysmal Ducks' game. It's...interesting? I honestly don't know what I expected with that beer.

Is CS out at the brewery yet? Can't seem to find much info on it. Not listed on taphunter. Looks like some activity on untapped.

For packaged beers, sure. Funny I just popped in to this thread. Last night I drank a Tongue Tickles, Just Outstanding, Mayberry, and Hop Tanker. When I was done I realized none were SD beers. I would have had a Thrillseeker, but the price tag kept me from buying more than the one I already drank. I do my best to keep my money in San Diego, so for me to reach for those breweries every time I see them fresh is telling.

One it comes to draft only offerings SD is still head and shoulders above though. Pizza Port OB alone has 6 Hoppys on right now that are as good or better than anything in a bottle.

To circle back on topic, I don't see the point of ranking breweries. Tier them up if you want. Do that and Noble is right there in tier one for the entire country. Love Noble.

I liked Cashmere Showers quite a bit. Got a flight and liked it a lot more than Glory Daze and Success Shun (and those weren't bad at all) I think they were doing growler fills yesterday.

Anyone know if Glory Daze is named after one of the greatest movies of all time, Glory Daze?
