Wolf's Ridge still had bottles from Saturday when I went in there yesterday, grabbed a couple Cinnamon Toast Brunch, so if you missed out Saturday, might be worth stopping by the taproom.

Did you happen to notice if Canis Mexicanus is still on at the tap room?

See above, but they had both bottles available yesterday afternoon. Definitely worth checking out (or honestly, just message them on Facebook, they respond very quickly)

The release was great and easy as expected. I swung by around 2:30pm Saturday and was able to get bottles, put down some Canis pours, and still try the two casks. Don't expect the same on May 14 when they release Canis bottles though.

I just wanted to add that I love Thirsty Dog's Maple Porter. Well done. It's strangley refreshing to me, but I do love the sweet stuff. I hope the brewery still has bottles. I need another.

Any one try Rum BORIS? :flushed:

We do still have a few cases of each in the taproom. Come on down tomorrow! There's also a little Canis left, probably won't last the week though. We are still pouring everything from Saturday's list except Coffee Vanilla Dire Wolf. The Clear Sky variants will also likely kick soon though.

My wife brought back a 6er of Platform Speed Merchant from Cleveland today. Lots of floaties and not the good kind. Has this happened to anyone else?

I went (think it was my first time going out since we had our first child). The place was pretty packed (surprised nobody responded to you yet). They had 3 of their beers on (& a couple guest taps); a farmhouse pale, a wit (with several kegged variations), and a porter (also with several kegged variations). They had a food truck out front that smelled amazing (I ate before going) & I saw some decent liquor behind the counter too (Blanton's).

Yep, new brewery has some major QC issues. Have had tons of oxidized beers and got a Speed Merchant full of sea monkeys. Hope they iron things out soon!

Got to stop in and chat with Patrick who works there. He will be in charge of the barrels as they get more of them in. All three beers they have right now are good and I tasted one variation of the porter which was excellent. Being that they have a 30bbl brewhouse you should see there beer everywhere in the coming months. And knowing what Patrick has done with barrels, sours, and wild ales in the past, I am very excited to see what he produces uses the barrels at the tap room.

Does Fat Head's have a set schedule for seasonal bottle releases? For the life of me, I can't find the information online.

I posted this last year but it could be missing a few:

Spooky Tooth (August - September) then Hop Stalker (October), Holly Jolly (November - December), Shakedown Stout (January), Hop Juju (February), Trail Head, etc... I'm hoping they do something else before Spooky Tooth like Battleaxe or Hippy Sippy.

I saw Hop Stalker in a store a few weeks back with the bottling date being illegible. Yikes-- dodged a bullet there.

Fat heads bottle dates are notorious for always being unlegible.

Smart move. Even fresh, the 2015 bottles fell flat compared to those spectacular 2014 pint cans.
