Mop Man's Mop Water, from Cape May Brewery?! I still like their Coastal Evacuation better :stuck_out_tongue: But I digress, I would love to see the canning of the citra IPA that was talked about a few pages ago. I could see Melvin doing epic things with a single hopped citra IPA!

I was told killer bees may be seen around town as early as this week.

We would love to release some other beers in cans, but right now we are just trying to keep up with production of the first three. We have 10 60bbl fermenters and for the time being we have to dedicate 8-9 of those to Hubert, Melvin & 2x4, so our other beers will be draft only for a while. Expect Drunken Master DIPA & Ruckus RIS kegs in the next 3-4 weeks. We are adding 6 120bbl fermenters by June, and then we'll be able to work more beers into the can lineup.

I'm not complaining! As long as there is fresh Melvin on the shelf, I'll be buying.

Coming into Denver middle of next week, any hope of finding any Melvin cans, esp on the south side of town? TIA

Guess the cat is out of the bag on Hubert. Molly's had the ipa and 2x4 but no Hubert tonight.

I'll jump on the Hubert train. Picked up a sixer at Mr. B's earlier this week and have really been enjoying since then.

Liked (but didn't love) the 2x4 in cans. Thought is was a little pungent and earthy, which isn't necessarily bad, but it was dangerously close to onion-town. Maybe I'll heed advice from from @Domingo and pick up another four-pack for this weekend with a little age on it.

In any event, how great is the hoppy beer scene in Colorado right now? Locals, cowboys (WY beers), and New Mexicans are on the swarm. Dayum.

Had a 2x4 last night and got zero onion, and I'm super sensitive to that flavor. Got a little about a week or so ago when I first brought the 4 pack home... I think @Domingo is on to something here :grinning:

I actually got a tolerable hint of onion in my * the other day....

    Also---
I just got officially dick-pumped about the MPA today! Not that I disliked it before, but was not feeling it like I was the IPA. Now I'm on the 'this is the best pale ever' bandwagon. So close to an IPA to me, but packs summertime poundability!

MPA ain't nuttn to f*** wit!

Tipsy's had a good amount of Hubert earlier tonight around 6pm. Also, I feel that Hubert and Pseudo Sue are very similar. I don't, however, know if Hubert is high on the Citra.

Argonaut had a good amount of all three. I was grabbing another 4 pack but decided the 12 currently in my fridge would suffice and left them for someone else.

2x4, IPA, and Hubert four pack cans spotted in Boulder, so I think they're just slowly getting around the state.

Totally agree with this. Although I haven't had a Sue in almost a year, I would really like to do a side by side with both of them. Might try and pull off a trade at DLD for some Sue and see how the comparison goes.

Small Batch has a shit-ton of Melvin cans available, and they have Melvin in the shop this evening doing a tasting.
