Boat load was at Broadview Heights Big Bird...Heard it was exclusive. Even IF that's true I can't see that lasting long. I really like it. IMO def one to throw into the 'everyday IPA' rotation with the likes of... 2 Hearted, 60 Min, C-bus, Stone, White Rajah and the like of $10ish 6'ers.

Surprised no one has mentioned Nowhere In Particular has their (his) first bottled product out on the market. A Double Rice IPA brewed with Amarillo and Citra hops.

I saw a Rhinegeist OWNED Semi-Truck headed up 71N this morning. Could be headed to Columbus, Cleveland, or Boston.

Anyone know where this particular batch was brewed? I know they were brewing their stuff at Rivertown Brewing Company for a while.

Rhinegeist steady on that BMC buyout brewery model. Their stuff is mediocre to good at best, NE ohio you aint missing much.

What's up with the Rhinegeist love? I've never had a SUPER enjoyable brew from them. All beers in the 3-3.25 range.

Agreed! Their brewery is awesome, don't get me wrong. The roof top bar they just opened looks spectacular, the events they host inside are great. $6 flat rate for the beers at the brewery is a little much for me, especially their 3.8% Uncle.

I just have trouble getting into their beers. A lot of my friends would drink Zen as it's a decent sessionable IPA, but I stuck with All Day. Now that MadTree has PSA out, I imagine things will change up quite a bit.

If I'm downtown Cinci, I go to Taft's period.

I love Taft's! Their Skronk Juice and Keylime Carribean Ale are awesome. Food and scenery definitely doesn't suck either!

Uncle is one of their best beers imo. Wish they canned it. I think everything they brew is very clean and typically well constructed, whether it stands out or not is up to you, but either way it's much more than many breweries growing rapidly have going for them. If you want to try a wow beer from Rhinegeist though, I recommend Pure Fury. Screw the ratings, it's one of the best Pale Ales I've had in years.

This one was in fact done at Rivertown. They had some bottles floating around their taproom recently.

Thank you for saying what I was too lazy to put into a post. I love that Rhinegeist does so many things and does them so well for the style. Totally agree about Uncle.

For me (being in CLE) that fact that it is new to my market and I think fairly respectably for the price. Im speaking about 'Truth' IPA btw. It is just nice to have a new $10 6'er to mix into the rotation. I would never like wait in line or go out of my way for it. I'm grateful its there waiting for me though.

I agree with their standard lineup. Outside of Zen, which is a nice session that I pick up from time to time, I don't really pick up any of their cans. However, Saber Tooth Tiger is one of my favorite Ohio DIPAs and Sherry Ink and Bourbon Barrel Ink were both excellent.

They also have had some nice one-off bombers. I basically only pick up the "Rarity" series anymore.

I won't debate the fact that Uncle is a good beer. However, at $6 a pint in the brewery when I can get a 7.2% Truth for the same price, I just can't cost justify it in my eye. I know that's a terrible way to look at it.

Also, I will agree Pure Fury holds it's own as a Pale Ale.
