What beer are you drinking now? (Canada)

Born of the same. I was going to admit it was a DDC thing but I don't get Peche unless it's on tap so it's a hard comparison. It is for sure their thing. It's a mouthterpiece!

@Mlkluther As someone who lives in Montreal and has both beers on my go to's list I thought I would give my 2 cents. Personally I think it depends what time of day it is, who your with, and how you want to drink. In the morning I like a coffee stout after working night shifts, Afternoon and night a nice vanilla cocoa stout feels nice. If im with friends and want to last a while Aphrodesique is best. If I'm at home and want a buzz to watch a movie with Then peche is the way to go.

They are both world class and both fantastic in their own settings!

 

Kronenbourg 1664 blanc! 2 country ticks in a day

 

Not quite the beer to be having at 12:30 on a Wednesday morning, but am about to make a trade and wanted to see how this held up (it's at least 2 years old):

 

At a friends pool last night and had a Stanley Park Windstorm Pale Ale:


There's some nice Mosaic flavour here in an easy-drinker... it was 28C.

Usually I would think it was good to get an infected beer cause it develops your tastes, but damn, that makes me feel terrible. Looks like a July vacation is now officially confirmed.

 

My opener for the day is Collective Arts Brewing's Ransack the Universe Hemisphere IPA!

 

Number 2 for the day is Beau's Golden Vox. This is a hybrid beer (rye pale lagered ale). It's a citrusy pale ale with rye malt brewed with ale yeast then cold aged with rye whiskey soaked oak! that's a mouthful. The nose is rye spiceyness and oak in the front followed closely by grapefruit, orange peel and a tiny bit of lemon, It also has a crisp/clean smell from the lagering process! Cheers!

As it should, you fiendish bastard! Obviously, you drank the beer and refilled it with vinegar and bug squeezings, then recapped it!

You know, if we do another swap and hit every brewery on the coast, you're going to need a bigger beer fridge, right?

Enjoyed this much more than the IIPA. No ear wax in this one @kculrich
