Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2016 Edition

I was just there today, unless they got another delivery, that is not the case.

I was there about an hour ago and while none were in the cooler area, they still had 3.5 cases left. It was in one of aisles.

Though, Casanova maybe a whole different animal.

 

Plenty at Nova, 14.99 limit 3 4 packs. They sold out of chocolate rye in 15 minutes

 

Cassian Sunset was at Chicones as of 45 min ago. $14.99 no limit.

 

I think they might be telling callers they are out but apparently they just got 10 additional cases in today. No limit

 

What. The. Fuck.

I called & was told they had plenty at 4:00 PM last night. Drove to Hudson, arrived about 4:30PM, none on the shelf or in the aisles (I checked every stack). Went up front & after having the guy shut down the register right in front of me while I was standing in line, was then told "You're way too late, sold out within an hour of it arriving."

It's getting harder & harder to get accurate info from stores or bars either in person or on the phone.

 

Yuck, sorry to hear that man. They could have very well gotten another drop then. I know there were reports of very limited amounts dropping in Wisconsin earlier this week with a munch bigger drop later in the week or eventually.

I got there a little after 10 today and wasn't sure what to expect. The spot where they had them in the cooler was out, so I asked and I was escorted to a nice stack in the middle/center aisle.

 

And this is why all the people who say "Why don't you call and ask" can die in a fire. If the store or bar won't give accurate info, then why should I call? At least I can trust my fellow advocates.

 

I'm not wild about the higher prices at Casanova's, but at least when I call/go in I know I'm going to get a reasonable answer, which is why they're normally my first choice. This isn't the first time I've received a bullshit answer at Chicone's.

I had a similar experience with Chicone's several years ago. Haven't been in there since. I'll gladly pay more at Casanova for better customer service all around.

 

$18/btl limit 4. Assuming it hasn't sold out in the time it took me to get home.

Shorewood sold out of the Waconia BA Stout in an hour and a half today.

 

Is this a new release? I read this and got all exicted, found some 4/16 at Princetons and bought 2 bombers since last years was so good. It's a total malt bomb. I'm pretty sure I'm drinking year old IPA. Ugh...anyone know if they've remade blue label for sure?
