New to Ohio (2016)

well.. depends on what area of the state you are in.. Beaver & Lawrence counties and even east towards Butler (with the exception of Cranberry) for example, there aren't any of those that sell beer.. in that same area are probably 30+ distributors, and at least that many state stores

 

Question for the any of the CBus folks.. have an acquaintance way way south that would like to try Bodhi. Is it draft / growler only? Possibly anywhere that does crowlers? CBus is a 4+ hour road trip one way, so I don't want to fly blind.

 

I understand that its not that way in the "rural" areas, but my question would be why are you buying beer in those areas in the first place? If you cant make the extra 15-20 min drive to a place that does have a grocery store that sells beer, or a bottle shop, then you really cant complain about the "case law".

 

Will be interesting to see if Bodhi becomes a hot commodity on the trading block when it first hits shelves. Do we know if this will be a year round luxury for us or just a rotating seasonal?

 

When I asked the plan was to still be year round. Not sure how many pages back, but it's here somewhere. Based on the amount of emails I have got for Ju Ju I would suspect that we will see lots of Bodhi bottles all over the country.

 

Cant even fathom the idea of being able to buy bodhi bottles year round. I know its regularly on draft all over Cleveland but to have some in the fridge will be awesome.

 

It will be in my weekly hoppy rotation, along with Head Hunter, Sunshine Daydream, White Rajah, & whatever fresh Lagunitas bottles I can find. Can't wait!

Any idea as to whether they still have any of this at the brewery?

 

Matt (the brewer) is supposed to be getting his yeast shipment this week. I assume that means brewing will start soon if everything goes as planned. The bar is really nice, food is great, and the drink/beer list is really good. Definitely will become a destination place.

 

Any update on the FH and FFF collab or did I miss that already?

They have a few on tap I've been meaning to try and that was one of them as well. Would like to get a pint of Head Shrinker and Bean Me Up too but I also have to work in the morning.

 

Anyone find founders Sumatra mountain brown yet? Can't wait to try that one
