I think all 3 of the canned beers are equally as good as one another. It just depends on what level of drinkability you're interested in.

We have zero bombers from Melvin right now. We have the three canned offerings I mentioned previously.

I've decided Hubert = 2x4 (for different reasons) > Melvin IPA. All are in the top-10 hoppy offerings in CO currently though!

Wow, drinking my first Hubert after having a bunch of 2x4 and IPA. This will be my go to in the summer, very crushable, and better than ZD.

Jungle juice is still on at park burger rino. Exactly what I needed tonight. Shit is crushable and delicious.

Not sure about you guys but my Melvin IPA in the can a few weeks ago tasted like straight butter.

I just got a 4-pack of 2x4 today that was canned 4/18/16 and again, tastes like butter. More like herbed butter.

Anybody else getting this diacetyl overload?

I've gone through multiple 4/6-packs of all 3 and not a hint of butter

Hmmm. I hope it is an anomaly.

    So far I've purchased 6 Hubert, 2 Ipa, and 6 2X4.
1 IPA and 1 2x4 have been very buttery. Have yet to drink the other 3 2x4's.

I'll let ya'll know throughout the weekend. Cheers.

    Drank 1x 4-pack 2x4, nothing
    Drank 2x 6-pack IPA, nothing
    Drank 2x 6-pack HPA, nothing.

Only thing I noticed was 2x4 tasting better on tap and a little thin (high alcohol heat) in cans.

I didn't want to say anything because CO BA's will jump all over you if you go against the grain. The first sixer of IPA I bought had notes of butter but was still good. The next few were outstanding with no butter. Opened an IPA dated 4/6 tonight and I thought I tasted it. I have not had any issues with Hubert or 2x4 and I'm also pretty sensitive to diacetyl. Melvin beers have been a staple in my fridge since they showed up, overall they are great.

It's OK if they are buttery, guys. I thought I was turning into a Melvin Fiend until this happened. Now I am afraid to spend the money on them.

    Any other thoughts?

I kind of here where you're coming from with the IPA, there was something a little off for me and now that you mention it perhaps it was mildly buttery. The Hubert and the 2x4 have been great, however.

I found that heat disappear completely after letting it set for a few days/weeks.
