Shoutout to @Saxmusik45 for coming through with my bottles of Help Yourself and he threw in two cans of Hello, LA because he's that awesome.

I'm just picturing Susan from Seinfeld now.

 

It's the opposite of Lazy Susan so maybe it's the same/similar style beer but with higher ABV or dry hopped

 

I'm just going to let the guessing game continue on here.

Hopefully its Lazier Susan barrel(s?)! Honestly, Lazy Susan was better because of how much the fruit in Lazier muted the base. I'd imagine this would translate well as second use barrels.

All assuming that this is what Athletic Susan is haha.

 

Just think what Help Yourself was to Raised Eyebrows. Named for how much use that wheat sour base has gone through.

 

Anyone going to be up at HPB today? Planning to be there at 12:30ish.

 

I take back my previous comment regarding Company of Parrots being my favorite from HPB. Just popped a Help Yourself and damn, this so balanced and juicy. Better than on draft, IMO.

 

I had one last night and it's fee nah muh nul.

 

Seconding this. The bottles of Help Yourself are tasting fantastic.

 

Can't stop, won't stop drinking the latest Achiever. Hung out at Glendale Tap for awhile tonight and just couldn't stop drinking the latest freshly delivered batch of The Achiever.

for HBP's growler fill policy. Looks like they fill blank growlers & other brewery growlers, both 32oz and 64oz.
Question: Does the growler label need to be covered? Like most other brewery's. No notes added to doc.
What's the current fill $?

The label does need to be covered. They'll do it for you with black tape.

I haven't been there lately but whatever three beers they have available for growler fills will typically run between $10 and $15 for 32oz and $15 to $25 for 64oz.

 

Yesterday they had Neon, Beer Spaceship and Fill Pils up for growler fills. Filled a 32 oz with Neon. It was $11. Woulda been $19 for a 64 oz fill.
