Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2016 Edition

Stopped into Steel Toe today and they still have bottles of BA Wee Heavy.

 

Saw some about 30 minutes ago at Boozemart in West St Paul. No idea on the can date.

 

Discount Liquor in Maplewood had two 4-packs of 11/17 Abrasive in the cooler earlier today. I opted for the 4/12 Todd.

 

Liquor Store and more had a bunch as of earlier this week

 

It's still drinking great!

Apricot Vista anywhere in the south metro? I'm on the west end for work today & the east end afterwards, any help would be appreciated. My normal secondary places are out (or completely clueless).

 

L&Bs in Channy, as of four minutes ago, has a few in the cooler.

However, please make sure you're posting accurate info, or a qualifier if you're unsure.

There are a few bottles of Apparent Horizon, not Apricot Vista, in the cooler. Manager verified AV is long gone.

 

Sumatra Brown, Aunt Sally, and another case of BA Scotty Karate at Shorewood Liquor. Also a few bottles of LTD Sunday Sales.

 

Always smart to call the store before driving. Nobody is perfect. Stores can tell you if it's in or not.

Shit. My bad. A lot of stuff just collects dust in that store. I saw the bottles and my brain just registered that it was AV and it didn't even seem strange to me that they still had it.

They did have a case of CW BBBW at 1pm. I can guarantee that as I am enjoying one right now.

Calling for obscure seasonal releases means about a 50% chance of getting the right answer at the vast majority of liquor stores. I trust people's reports here far more.

has anyone seen ovila abbey by sierra nevada around?

 

I was at Liquor Barrel in Saint Paul earlier and they had the Ovila multi pack. They also have quite a few Double Fudge and Uncle Jacob's, along with pretty much ever MN TG release from the last year.

 

I know Big top or liquor barrel or whatever on Excelsior had a handful of AV this week earlier if you are still looking.
Otherwise, I hear Sioux Falls has plenty.
