What beer are you drinking now? #1298

I understand the hassle with multiple posting. I wish there was an easier way. When I attempt to post multiple pics I almost always screw it up.

 

This Prairie-Vous is fantastic, one I like to see as a summer release...

 

This has got to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen on WBAYDN. How is this not a Happoshu?

 

Finishers:

Really good pale ale, been a couple years since I last had it. Got in the latest mix 12 pack. Flavors of grapefruit, orange peel, pineapple, lemon zest, mango, herbal, floral, pine, woody, and spicy hops; with moderate caramel/toasted biscuit/rye malt balance. Moderate pine/spicy bitterness; a creamy/sticky balanced mouthfeel; light-medium increasing bitter dryness. Zero astringency. A pretty unique pale ale, but very well made and balanced. I will certainly be enjoying the other 2 from the 12 pack. Glacier hops are pretty interesting.


My go-to Oatmeal stout. Flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toasted oats, dark bread, and nutty malts; with light licorice/molasses notes and balanced herbal/spicy hop bitterness. Medium bodied creamy/silky and lightly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel; with tons of robust/complex flavor for 5.2%. This is always awesome. Need to buy more soon, just cleared out the last of the 6 pack I had.


Tasting incredible as expected. Huge juicy mango, melon, papaya, berry, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel, citrus rind, and pine hops; with moderate honey, bread, light caramel malt sweetness; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Good sized pine/rind/spicy bitterness; with a medium-full bodied sticky/resin and creamy mouthfeel; with a touch of slickness. Moderate dryness with zero hop astringency. Mildly warming ABV. Amazing as always, glad I bought a full 4 pack again this year.

Traveling to Gainesville tomorrow for son’s college orientation and his nonchalant lack of preparation is stressing the hell out of me, because I’m $#&@! certain he’s forgotten something that will cause me major bureaucratic ass pain with the university. The kid glides through life in a constant state of indifference and will likely live to a hundred. I do all the stressing for him and will be dead before he graduates. I need a drink, badly.
