What beers epitomize summer for you?

This year will be Session IPAs. I've been
drinking them as of late and love the clean/crisp
slightly hoppy taste. Also like the lower ABV
aspect as well. Will go down really nice during
those hot summer days.

Also might knock down some Rolling Rock nips
and some PBRs for sure.

 

I know I'll probably catch some shit for this, but summer shandy is pretty damn refreshing.

I used to like the Hefeweizens in summer, but I now find them a bit too sweet and heavy, so I'll order a few cases of this instead:

 

Nightshift's Whirlpool, Jack's Abby Leisure Time Lager and a variety of good 'ole heffes. New for this summer - Notch's Infinte Jest. 4.3%, a little hoppy, smooth and so drinkable. For the most part stouts and porters take a back seat.

A good PBR tallboy and a Coors Original gets the job done for me in the Summer.

 

Kronenbourg Blanc! Beer 961 Pale Ale - though I can no longer buy it here.

From the craft scene Feral Sly Fox and Mountain Goat Summer Ale. Neither would typically be my style of beer, but if I'm with people, they're both guaranteed people pleasers.

Plus the Mountain Goat is in cans!
