I don't want to make the mistake of going and there being no release....aaaagain

I'll have to get a growler fill to make myself feel better.

I was really hoping there would be a green mushroom somewhere on the can.

They wanted to stay away from any potential Nintendo lawsuit.

These are usually done mid-afternoon correct? I think I am driving through and could make a detour around noon, which obviously won't help me if they are released later in the day.

The beauty is that at noon the bar opens up so you can get some tasters (drive responsibly) and it won't be too long after that when they decide to put it on sale. I'm sure Bob wants to make his way up to Firestone at a reasonable time as well.

Since I would be driving, 2 tasters max since Paso is still a long way to go. But a growler and a 4pk or 2 could find its way into my cooler.

Loved Lazy and Lazier Susan, can't wait to hopefully snag some Athletic Susan, I've been hearing nothing but good things about the IPA's sounds like HPB is just crushing it lately

Thinking about making my first visit to HPB while in town for work tonight. Also wanting to watch game 1 of the NBA Finals. Are there any TVs in the HPB tap room or The Hermosillo?

No, there might be one in a corner but I don't think it is ever turned on, and the hipsters will probably yell at you if it gets turned on

They'll turn the TV on for finals of most major sports.

How's the parking at HPB for the can release? Shooting for 1pm arrival.

They may have 6 parking spaces. I've never been able to park in one - gotta find street parking.

it's a small parking lot, a lot of street (metered) parking as well as non-metered residential area around a block away. I wouldn't automatically assume the parking lot is going to be your best bet.
