Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

Agreed. By this point last year we had CR and GM. We're looking at potentially consecutive months of CR/GM/BT, if all is fine, which will be killer on the wallet. Aren't we expecting another (new) "day of the week" beer this year? I seem to recall that being in some prior communications. That would be a lot to cram into a few months for me.

 

So being HS this year has basically provided a single HS only beer so far? I get there was chupa and the scotch poterie, but both those went down to RS if I remember right.

 

Just dropped a couple hundred and could've been so much more... oof. Guess this is what we get for a few relatively easy months early in the year.

 

I am going to be in town and plan to stop at the tasting room in the next couple of weeks. Would I be able to pick up my own bottles if I wanted? I know we have trustees listed but could I pick up my own bottles if I wanted to the one time I am there?

 

Yes, you can. If you notify them in advance, they'll get them ready. Otherwise it might be a short wait (which isn't a big deal since you could just go to the tasting room).

 

But still you should notify them because they request it, and why make things hard on them...

Just send an email to the society email address telling them what all you want to pick up. I usually give my cust # and the order #s I am grabbing but you could probably get away with just giving your name and saying you want to pick up everything.

 

Room For Me was HS only.

I'm interested to hear reviews on Dodie. I'm always hesitant when I see "spices" and this one has 30+ spices.

Yeah this is one of the top raspberry sours I have ever had. Perfect amount of sour oak and raspberry all blended together. The Frucht series is also 2 for 2 in the awesome category. Quadrupel Tonnellerie is another that I was impressed with. The fruits this month were very much present and not overpowering. Maxed out!
