-Because she get's pissed if I try a new beer and don't offer her some.
-Because if I crack a big beer to split, she fights me for the first taste.

Despite not being as beer crazy as me, she puts up with my trips, is ok with going off the beaten path to do a brewery tour or visit a nice brewpub. Despite often giving me a hard time (it's a New England thing) she puts up with my (near) obsession with beer.

    Just because...

    ...Love is precious!

ps-Yes, even thought she is more of a wine drinker (very little), she will try any new beer I offer.

    -tolerates numerous "incidental" beercation stops
-accommodates all measure of brewing accoutrements
-made me attend a brewer's retreat, made me I say...

It all started 2 years ago for our 5th wedding anniversary. Our daughter was still very young, so we didn't want to go far. As a last minute trip, I booked us in a B&B near dogfish and we drove down on a Thursday afternoon for the late tour. She got hooked almost immediately, she loved beer for the first time. Since then, she's gone through tons of beer phases(currently parked on a hop phase that shows no signs of slowing) and tons of breweries/events with me:

    -Wild Friendship Day at Allagash
    -Carton(several times)
    -Dogfish a second time
    -2 massive VT runs
    -Philly beer Week
    -Kane
    -Weyerbacher

Next year, we are going to Huna Day. All in all, she not only supports my habit, but asked me what time I am leaving for a local can release this Sunday(didn't have to tell her I was going, she just assumed correctly I was). She wants to hunt beer almost as badly as I do. I like to joke and say it's a curse, but it's a blessing to have someone to share the passion for beer with.

One of the myriad reasons is that she's a drinker too, and enjoys to travel and beer tour. She also sends me buku locals back from Massachusetts when she visits family there. I'm lucky, and I always try to keep that in mind.

She is thrifty like me! And she always thinks of me during garage sale season. She recently got me some new to me glassware and a mini fridge with out me even asking.

Beside randomly buying me beer and antique beer glasses, this was my Christmas present last year. A beer advent calendar with 24 beers I've never had. She made multiple trips to the beer store to get them, always working with a sales guy to make sure she didn't get any crappy or gimmicky beers.

Letting you? You've got a year to address this issue.
