Just show your ID and they'll look you up. My card apparently got lost in the mail as I got delivered half an envelope that once held my card. Lol

Did anybody see that Ben Weiss, the director of marketing resigned today? I met Ben about a month back when he swung through NYC and he was a good guy. Seems like a transition period for The Bruery...Tyler King (employee #2), Matt Olesh, and now Ben Weiss (employee #3). Bruer Joel has done yeoman's work replacing Matt so far, can only hope Ben's replacement does as well.

Did not know that, thats rough. Hopefully we don't see the same fallout after most breweries see when ppl leave.

Don't forget Carl, the CFO/COO who left last month.

Is Cambria still there? I met her at a local event here in GA and feel like that was maybe the reason I got a Hoarders invite as they had already gone out and I was just set on being Reserve again, but then I got it in the mail a week and half later. She was cool. Cute too.

Are there any Hoarders members in the tasting room that want to give a lowly Reserve member a taste of PB&J BT? Never got to try it. I'm big guy in green shirt. I'll buy a pour of your choice to compensate :grinning:

And will there be any Hoarders in tomorrow around 1:00pm who'd be willing to hook up another lowly Reserve member with PB&J in exchange for a thank you round?!

I don't mean this in as snarky of a way as it will probably sound, but would anyone be able to differentiate that fallout from the many changes and challenges the Bruery has already gone through over the past few years? They've changed fundamentally in so many different ways that it actually seems like a good time to either bring in fresh blood in leadership/senior roles, or allow the people who have been executing new strategies to ascend through the organization.

Carl's departure is actually the most interesting to me since the Bruery's entire model is dependent on creative financial management and planning, moreso than most other breweries. I'm guessing that with the Terreux facility opening soon, they're hoping to have a period of relative stability before figuring out their next big project. Certainly a good time to transition the CFO and COO roles.

Unless I missed it, Carl's was the only one not announced on social media. Ben and Matt Olesh's were announced by them personally. I think there is something to the transition. Ben had been there since the beginning and Carl for the last four years. At the same time, the growth has really exploded, in terms of distribution and capacity with the new brew house. If I remember correctly Ben especially has been in at least 2-3 places every month since last summer. If you start from the new brew house to the separate Terreux facility to the opening of the Terreux tasting room, they look to have completed a big phase of build out and distribution growth, they just might be moving to a more sustaining phase, which presents different challenges than the last four years.

Anyone try this year's hottenroth yet? Hopefully it's better than last year's in sourness.

I'm not sure they are making Hottentroth anymore, with Frucht on the menu.

Or you could check your in box...

    "DRAFT AND BOTTLE RELEASE
The timing on this next one is perfect: on Friday, we celebrate the draft and bottle release of Hottenroth! Brewed in memory of Fred & Sarah Hottenroth, Patrick’s grandparents, this tart, German-style Berliner Weisse is as authentic as it gets. We use lactobacillus and a hint of brettanomyces to sour this refreshing, low gravity wheat beer. Come have a pint and grab a bottle or growler to-go this weekend. Bottles will also be available on TheBrueryStore.com on Friday."

Does anyone have a list handy of what Hoarder's bottles that are included with the membership have not yet been released? I've sort of lost track...
