Ram Brewery - Juicy DIPA



I love Tree House PA/IPA/DIPAs… they are my favorite brewery for those styles of beer along with Toppling Goliath (King Sue, Sosus, Pompeii and Xhops Gold)… but this… Juicy. I will stack it up in a head to head versus ANY beer from Tree House or Toppling Goliath. Juicy DIPA is THAT good! Tropical fruit and citrus aroma just dominates the air. My girlfriend smelled the beer from across the living room! Mango, citrus and grapefruit puree... taste is phenomenal following the nose and amazing refreshing/smooth mouthfeel. Perfect for a hot summer day.

This beyond exceeded my expectations, and I recommend anyone that has the ability to get their hands on Juicy to get it!

Finally getting to sample Von Trapp. Found this, Dunkel and Helles. All relatively fresh (best by late July, early Sept and mid Aug, respectively). Pils does not disappoint, although this one is on the drier side.

 

I just added some comments to my original post, but this GREATLY exceeded my expectations. It is absolutely phenomenal.

With a little hero. Turkey, Munster cheese, slaw, tomatoes, and French dressing,

Watching/listening to mets and hoping they don't drop another to the lousy braves,

 

This one is very subtle in all regards. Clean, malt dominate and slight spiciness. Less of a residual sweetness than Jack's Abby House Lager. Both beautiful beers, though. I could drink a bucket of any well made Helles.

Workout and 95 degree run behind me, I’m going lazy this afternoon. Kershaw and GOT on tap for this evening.



Snakehandler gets much pub and enjoys a bit of a cult status in these parts, but Take the Causeway is my favorite brew from the Yellowhammer state. Love its combo of Citra and Simcoe hops.

 

Hey BA's....happy humid Sunday here on the North Coast!

Had a super busy Saturday at the 41st annual Antique & Classic Boat Show held here in the Akron / Portage Lakes area where I live.....very cool, over 55 boats on display in the water, including these two of mine....1913 Morris canoe and 1967 Circraft saucer boat - both always get lots of attention!

On to the beer!

 

Really enjoyed the Germany win over Slovakia. This tournament has been fantastic. Prepped beforehand for the win.
