I had my first, and only, one in January and wasn't impressed at all. I gave it a 3.65, but like you, I received it in a trade and I have no idea how old it was.

Cigar City Hunaphu's Imperial Stout, on tap at Barcade in Brooklyn earlier this evening. Gotta love it!

That's the problem. Dreadnaught never sits on the shelves for long, so when you get one it's going to be relatively fresh. APW sits on the shelves in some places for what seems like forever. I only buy APW from the brewery.

Im not too sure what you mean by "wild" tasting, but i will say it is pretty tasty. I remember drinking this when it first came out and it was slightly sweet, tart with that yeasty goodness. Right now, mine is drinking like a dry sparkling wine with a little spice, almost hoppyness

Having a couple Schlafly Pumpkin's and listening to the theme song of one of my favorite wrestling managers of all time, the Doctor of Style himself, Slick!

I started off with a bike ride to my nearest pub to try Bootleggers Wild Fire Wheat. I loved the smokey flavors in a sessionable hefeweizen. [IMG]

And Now I'm onto my own Dunkel Homebrew! It has a ton of orange flavor to it, my gf loves it, but I know exactly what I'll do next time to improve it.

I'm sure there will be more to come!

16% is great...sipping my 2nd breakfast stout of the evening.

that glass took 3 full pours from the 12 oz bottle so probably 4oz in the glass. maybe 4.5 since the pours weren't to the rim. it is a mini pint glass taster. LOVE it.

if i only had transferred that video of illyB (billy martin) and ciro baptista doing a 45 minute drum duet in the issue project room in brooklyn...talk about legendary drumming...or just musicianship. illyB is my favorite.

Had a crazy day at work (why do dogs eat crazy shit like entire leashes?) and needed a beer of the week for my blog, so I cracked a Double DBA.

    So good. Cheers.

I feel like this is an underrated sour. It is sooo delicious. Vinegar notes, fruit notes some nice funk. Very well crafted brew.

1st half I had a Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale. 2nd half, I'm enjoying a Hofbrau Oktoberfest. I kinda like Pumpkin beers, but Oktoberfests will always rule the fall for me!

Just poped open the Harpoon Fall pack, had one of each tonite. Pretty solid fall mix.
