Angry Chair Releases

Just had the Bourbon aged Dave's barelywine during the bottle release.
Was fantastic in every way smell, taste, feel all wonderful, and the kicker was the bourbon age didn't over power.
Going back tomorrow for more bottles if it lasts through the day.

 

Damn solid BA barleywine. Probably one of the best I've had in years.

If anyone has a bottle of today's release, the BBA Dave's Barleywine to trade, please let me know. Barrel Aged English BW's are my favorite beer style and I'd love to get a bottle. I'll be very generous on my end of the trade. Cheers!

Been hearing a lot about angry chairs brewery lately!

 

Does anyone know if there is any BA Barleywine left? I live outside Orlando and thinking of getting there at open today if so. Thanks for the help!

Saw that yesterday, but the word "some" scares me. Hate to drive down there and they are sold out. I messaged them on FB, but haven't heard anything back. Thanks.

Line out the door earlier. Not everyone was buying the limit though. Not sure how much they have of this but it was moving fast shortly after opening.

 

Sold out as of about 3:30pm. They had mentioned expectations of it lasting into the weekend but I guess a mob of people rushed the tasting room in the late afternoon.

I split a bottle of the French Toast with a buddy who was kind enough to share it with me tonight. Wow, that is some serious maple goodness. Thanks Kevin, and well done Angry Chair!

Good cinnamon and maple flavors. A little hot and not nearly as sweet as fb French toast.

 

This is what I was thinking also.. Was a little of a let down after all the diabetes they have been making.

 

Or a nice change of pace... Sometimes the sweet can be too much.

 

Either way... It's good for what it is. Not as sweet, but a nice change of pace.
