Never Enough, Lady Broz, and IdonteverwanttoBU (with new can design)?!... I chose a terrible week to move away from the area, and I definitely need to stop getting notifications from The Veil on Facebook.

No limits on these? They gonna last the night?

Well there it is, my favorite's back!

That's at least 125 more cases of beer than they dropped last week (and on the high end it could be 50% more than last week) and they still had cans from last week going into today. Something might sell out tomorrow like MS or Idontever but I would be surprised if either of the other two come close. I certainly wouldn't line up crazy early and stand in 100+ degree heat index weather with 525-600 cases starting the day. Betting the line moves more slowly again with 4 beers to mix and match at the counter though.

I'm guessing the cherry gose is the first and only beer to sell out tomorrow. IBU is going to be popular but they made a ton of it, I think it will last.

With them not much would surprise me (like, a line could already be formed or people decide to stay cool until late this afternoon and I'd think "sounds about right"). 100+ cases of Never Enough just seems like a lot of a new beer to me with 3 other beers dropping as well.

From the posts I have seen today it does not seem like an early showing. Seems like pockets are not so deep by the regulars by the week after week releases.

Amen to this. After my first trip, I said I'd take a 1/2 day to go back to load up on as much Idontever as I could carry. I'm settling for splitting a mixed case a with a friend if for no other reason than it's been a really expensive couple of months of buying Veil beer.

There are posts on FB of people grabbing 5 cases, 8-9 cases... Maybe it's just a few folks from out of town making it for the first time, maybe word of "no limits" is out and folks are now making trips that weren't before. But it's damn fun to watch this social experiment (as long as I get my measly 1/2 case!).

Guess so, as apparently never enough sold out by 7:30-ish.

IdonteverwanttoBU still available? My sister lives in the area and I'm trying to convince her to stop in and snag me a 4pk.

Yes, the only thing that sold out is Never Enough. They commented on FB last night that there is a lot of IBU left.

They really should do case limits (or half a case for lower canning runs) on Tuesdays and then no limits starting Wednesday. People walking out with 8-9 cases of beer is slightly absurd especially when it means other folks miss out on beers.

If they have 100 cases of something, make it 3 4-packs for Tuesday
175-200 cases, make it a case limit Tuesday.
    No limits Wednesday.

Okay so yesterday they sold 403-418 cases of beer (out of 575-590 cases):
    LadyBroz - 85 cases (100 minus 15 remaining)
Never Enough - 100-115 cases (they didn't post a final count but said they were shooting for this amount while canning)
    Idontever - 141 cases (200 minus 59 remaining)
    Master Shredder - 77 cases (175 minus 98 remaining)

They have been selling right at 400 cases when they have multiple new beers and around 600 going into opening (with no limits and some people taking hand trucks). Gotta think, for every person like that, there's someone grabbing a few 4 packs, or a few people who didn't make the trip this time and will make the haul for their friend next time instead.

I don't see limits coming back because of this. I have to wonder if they yielded the 100 cases of NE they expected. But at these numbers, 172 cases total going into Wednesday, I think it's safe to say that at least MS is going to be there all weekend. I bet they keg even more to send off next time. In the meantime if someone wants NE they say they have a ton on draft.

Props to @beernuts for calling the one and only sellout on release day!

They are offering refunds on Never Enough. I did see some check-ins saying the aroma was pretty rough.
Yeah I already saw today a local place in VB saying they had some draft shredder.

Beat me to it. huge props to Veil to going to the trouble and offering this. So many places, local or not, would not even go to the time of offering a refund or even acknowledge an issue. Their full post below if you are not on their social media channels.

***Please read entire post regarding yesterday's release of Never Enough(Gose with Montmorency Cherries and Black Lava Salt)***

Yesterday we released approx. 110 cases of Never Enough cans and draft from our tasting room. It has been brought to our attention that some customers are experiencing the presence of butyric acid in the aroma, that can be off putting to some customers. Butyric acid is a byproduct of the sour kettle process(used for this particular beer) that can produce off aromas and flavor commonly described as bile or rancid cheese. Throughout the production of Never Enough we picked up on this character slightly. Through further testing, specifically sensory analysis using a wide range of experience palate wise, we believed with the addition of fruit, the final product would be acceptable(per the style) to release to the public. Once the final product was canned, we believed that from the can, the product was completely acceptable and quite tasty. We were still canning Never Enough once our doors were open at 4pm for the can release. Later in the evening we began further sensory analysis once the cans were deemed sold out and recognized the presence was much more prominent than we would prefer. We take a tremendous amount of pride in our product, putting our heart and souls into each and every beer we make. We refuse to allow this to be a representation of The Veil Brewing Co and our families. We have decided to pull all draft(from our tasting room and any in the market) and will be offering a full refund for anyone who purchased cans or draft of Never Enough yesterday from our establishment.

We would like to make the refund process as efficient and painless for everyone as possible. To receive a refund for Never Enough cans purchased yesterday with a credit or debit card, please send an email with the subject:"NE Refund" to [email protected] with the full name and last 4 digits on the card used for the purchase. Please keep the cans and do as you may with them(we suggest drinking them from the can because it's still rather tasty from the can ). We will send you an email once the refund has been issued.

To receive a refund for Never Enough cans purchased yesterday with cash, we will need a receipt as proof of purchase to refund your cash. Please keep the cans and do as you may with them(we suggest drinking them from the can because it's still rather tasty from the can ).

To receive a refund for Never Enough cans purchased yesterday with cash WITHOUT a receipt, we will need to exchange the physical cans as a form of proof of purchase to refund your cash. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the situation, we are not capable of issuing a refund for draft pours purchased with cash. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding in advance.

**WE WILL HONOR AND ISSUE ALL REFUNDS FOR UP TO 60 DAYS(UNTIL SEPTEMBER 27TH, 2016)**

We thank you again for your humbling, continued support in The Veil Brewing Co. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this might have placed on you. We hope y'all will continue to hang out with us and try future releases from us. Thank you for your understanding during this heavy moment for us. Cheers!

A little deceiving. Only 17 cases of Shredder was left going into today. This would be from last Wed I assume.

My buddy is going to see Carcass tomorrow in Richmond....and I'm trying to send him to Veil before he goes to the concert. I think I saw earlier in the thread that they open at 4(?) but do any of the fine VABAs know which cans they will be selling tomorrow? Growlers are not an option for me.
Ok (edit) I see on their Facebook page they are going to have Crucial Taunt which sounds excellent, I'm guessing they'll have two others announced too?
