    Baffling. Who are these people.
My understanding is that the "line" was completely gone barely an hour after opening.

There was no line by about 5 PM. There was absolutely no reason to line up prior to opening. I was told still plenty of cans left when I left last night. They are officially out of the blue label glassware now, just FYI.

That answers it - they were there for the glassware!

I'm glad the new norm has settled in making it basically entirely unnecessary to line up for weekly releases. They've got this rolling the right way now I think.

Quite a dent was made yesterday. Veil just posted what's left going into today's 4pm opening. I'm going to guess CT sells out within an hour tonight and Toof Ache will probably make it to shortly after opening tomorrow.

Have you been to the opening of a star wars movie or seen these nerds playing pokemon go? It's those people.

    haha. Could be.
I rhetorically wonder if there were no IG or facebook would these dudes be lining up so early. I'd bet money every one of these guys needlessly in line hours early are posting multiple selfies showing how super cool they are waiting for this awesome beer release.

So they sold 311 cases total yesterday:
    153 cases of CT
158 case of Toof (assuming they hit the 225)

That’s about 100 cases less than last week (unsure exactly how much they sold last week because they weren’t done canning, like this week) and it was a 4 beer, 600 case release.

Last time they dropped only 2 double batches (CCTT/Lions) they sold 283, but it was a really stormy day.

Last time they dropped double batch of CT it was along with Idont, they started with 190 of each – they sold 179 of CT and 159 of Idont (338 total) so they sold about 30 cases more then WITH a limit of 1 case per case. Both were gone by 5:10 the next day.

They're consistently selling about 300 cases on double release days and about 400 on 4 release days with the "no limits" approach.

Interesting to me that this batch of CT sold that much less at no limit, but at the same time I got a case of CT last time and just grabbed 1 4pack this go.

Sorry if no one finds this sort of tracking/comparison interesting but I do and seems a reasonable place to post it.

Not everyone who lines up first/early is a super dork. Sometimes you just have somewhere to be later and need to ensure that you’re in and out by 4:05 or so.

Is there any talk/hype for this? Going to be home in Va that weekend and am looking at possibly attending

There is, my guess is that tickets will sell out very quickly. If they do online ticket sales I would be ready to buy them as soon as they are available.

They just announced it yesterday but I'm fairly certain you can guarantee there is a lot of hype considering the breweries attending and most of them not being available in VA.

Availability just posted going into today's 4pm opening. Note there is a Limit since there are so few cases left.

    Toof Ache - approx 3 cases / 2x 4-packs per person limit

If you check out the FB page it's the most commented/forwarded thing on there I believe. As soon as I texted a friend yesterday someone walked into his office saying "did you see what The Veil just posted?" People from states away are talking about coming. I'm going to try to get tickets. I'm prepared to be disappointed.

Haha yea, someone here in SD posted it to a forum I'm on yesterday. For some reason I thought Veil posted it ~1 week ago hence my question earlier.

Man, you guys are onto something here.

The nose is just orange for days, with a nice blend of tangerine and apricot. Color is beautifully golden orange. The feel is nice and pillowy. Taste is just right there with the nose. Just a fantastic Summertime IPA. Well done, if the Crucial Taunt is as good as I've read, I'm in for an even bigger treat. Cheers Richmond.

    C'mon!
I've got Grimm, SingleCut, Other Half pretty regularly available to me, and I've had the Vermont shit, and Trillium and Tree House and this is EASILY there with it. De-fucking-licious. I got a 12 of both, I'm giving at least 4 away of each, amongst a few other VA beauts, because they're worthy. You guys have an excellent beer scene. Cheers from this New Yorker!
