Good times. I was there that Saturday. It was raining pretty much all day so the place was dead. Ended up taking 6 growlers of Good Morning while enjoying the guitar session Dean and Nate were having.

Yea, I was there towards the end of the day and the place was empty!

From a week ago so it may have already been posted but I thought a couple answers in this interview were funny:

Paste: In a post from early last year, you mentioned bottles and variants of Good Morning. Is that something we will still likely see in the near future?

NL: I have changed my thinking there. Bottles of Good Morning are not likely to ever see the light of day.

Paste: It has been some time since the last batch of Good Morning. Is there any reason for the wait?

NL: I’d say the main reason is it’s 90 degrees outside and I’m not in the mood for a rich maple stout. It’s driven a lot by mood and seasonality. If we happened to have a cool dry streak this summer I might start thinking about brewing a batch. I can’t wait – This year’s extra dark syrup is insane. Another driver here is that the brew day is extremely mentally and physically taxing for a number of reasons. To drop a 16 hour brew day into the mix when I’m already cranking at 50+ hours on the deck a week is difficult, to put it mildly.

Paste: If you could change anything about craft beer today, what would it be and why?

NL: I don’t know – it seems there are more great options now than ever before. There has been a lot of pushback against line culture, and driving insane distances for hauls, and things like that. I think the excitement is a good thing. Life’s a grind, and getting by while staying reasonably sane is difficult, you know? My thought is – “Isn’t it great that we all have this common passion we can get excited about?! What’s so bad about that?” I wish I still had the time to travel around and be a beer consumer. I dream about it!

I think Nate realized that if there were actual sealed bottles of Good Morning, they would have to hire the Massachusetts State Police to set up barricades and keep law and order hahaha

    So great.

On another note, my buddy had a guy stop by our local brewery yesterday looking for trades. Got to try Green and Alter Ego for the first time. Green was SO BOMB.

Can't wait to make the trek up there and snag some for myself.

To be honest, they will almost definitely have to do that at some point, unless they start releasing those rarest of beers more frequently, which is probably not going to happen considering the above statement he made. Just taking into consideration the state of their most frequent offerings selling out same day, unless demand mellows out, you might even see that sort of presence for regular cans. If they continue releasing GM very sporadically, like once or twice a year, there's nothing wrong with needing and hiring help. See Dark Lord Day, Huna Day, Darkness Day, the list goes on. I would be shocked, if GM stays on the roster, that it doesn't become an event within a year or two.

It's interesting that they have never (to my knowledge) done a ticket release give how popular they are

At this point, I'm guessing that they're holding off on GM until Charlton since Monson won't be able to handle the crowd a GM release will bring.

Which all has me wondering if the new facility will have a multi-level parking deck for all the Treehouse-bound migrants with a snaking pedestrian stairwell to corral the crowds into a self-contained line :stuck_out_tongue:

Can anyone confirm if they had Native Two bottles yesterday? I know they've been popping up unannounced on Thursdays lately.

I think it's just the lighting of the picture making the background of the label look brighter

I'm not sure Charlton will be able to handle such a crowd with only 148 parking spaces...

Much longer hours will help spread the crowds throughout the week....much like Trillium now.

I agree. I feel like we will see reduced lines with longer hours and much more beer. Im sure there will still be a few releases that draw big crowds but I think overall there will be reduction.

At some point after they started canning. I never had time to go through the growler line twice, but yes it used to be allowed.
