First beer announced for this week is the return of Child Support Hoppy Pilsner. This one featuring Mosaic. (The first release was Citra)

Since the announced this yesterday that leads me to believe there will be at least 3 cans since they tend to announce 1 can/day leading up to release.

I believe it will be three cans this week, and have heard rumblings that they may all be new ones (counting Child support as new given the different hop variety). Have a feeling people will be lining up early this week, but it looks like they will be putting limits (at least on some) on cans this week.

Interesting on the limits if they do that since it's only been a few weeks since Veil said everything would be no limits in the future unless otherwise noted. Maybe expecting a low case count on those they limit?

EDIT: Just re-read their post on Child Support. Targeting 95-110 cases w/ 3 4-pk limit. That answers that

Don't you know beer tastes better when you wait in line to get it??

Updated: Total of 3 (new) releases announced for Tuesday Aug. 9th

    Child Support
is our 4.5% Hoppy Pilsner. It is definitely not an IPL, but more of a hop foward Czech style Pilsner. We decided to make Child Support a single hop beer to showcase particular varietals. For the second batch, we went with Mosaic. A semi-hefty whirlpool edition and lightly dry-hopped. We're supper stoked on how this one turned out. We canned a little too much last time, so we will be cutting back this time. Shooting for approx. 95-110 cases. $13+tax per 4-pack. Most likely a 3x 4-pack limit per person, but we will keep you updated as things get closer.

    Lord Lord Shredder Shredder!
Before we get into the beer, we want to discuss the different packaging you see above. We are running out of Limited Release printed cans that new beers are typically packaged in. In addition to our realization of us running out of these cans, we've recognized the tireless volunteer work that goes into HAND labeling every individual can(over 10,000 at times). We have teamed up with our friends Skirven & Croft and redesigned the can so that we can pass the can through a labeler off of the canning line and reduce unnecessary manpower. We have placed an order for those cans, but unfortunately printing cans is a timely process. Until then, we will be using blank cans and applying a circular label(BY HAND STILL ) while we wait for the cans to arrive in mid-late September. Hopefully you guys are still digging these. All things considered, we think they came out pretty rad.

NOW! On to the beer! Lord Lord Shredder Shredder is double blood orange, double dry-hopped Master Shredder. We actually used 3 times the amount of blood orange purée than regular Lord Shredder(over 10lbs per BBL), but decided we would save the space on our menu board instead of naming it Lord Lord Lord. This one is juuuuiiiccceee. Insanely hoppy juice. We reduced the initial IBU's so that the perceived bitterness from the double dry-hopping is a bit more subdued. Man! We're stoked on this 6.3% variant of our beloved flagship IPA Master Shredder Shooting for approx. 215-225 cases. $16+tax per 4-pack. No limit.

    Eternal Shredder
is the imperial version of Master Shredder. We are extremely please with how this came out. Jam packed with tangerine, grapefruit, fresh bright orange peel. Subtle dankness. Juicy as all get out! I know we seem to say this a lot, but this is one of our favorite DIPAs we've made to date. Real talk! 8.5% and super drinkable. Shooting for 175-200 cases. $15+tax per 4-pack. No limit.

Going to be in town for the release but not sure I can make it till Wednesday. Do the cans usually last a day or should I make it a priority to get there by close Tuesday?

Minimum of 485 cans, they've been consistently selling about 400 cases on weeks where they're releasing multiple new beers. I fully expect there to be cans left on Wednesday and possibly til the weekend. I would not be surprised if something sells out Tuesday but I think it's pretty likely that at least LLSS will make it farther into the week.

Not saying they can't sell out Tuesday, obviously, but if they do it would be the first time they sell 500 cases on release day and I don't think this is the week that happens.

In case you missed it...anyone coming into town for the release today be sure to swing by The Answer if you have time. Their DIPA collab w/ Other Half (Pump Fake) is releasing at 4 as well. Both draft and Crowlers will be available. Only 3 miles from Veil. Nice prep for the possible Veil/OH TIPA releasing next week.

Long shot, but if anyone is able to pick up some extra cans today and meet me tomorrow morning for an exchange, I'd be forever in your debt. I'm on vacation nearby in VA Beach and can swing through tomorrow morning on our way home, but being there at 4 pm today or tomorrow isn't in the cards. It's killing me to be so close yet so far!

Thanks for the help guys. Turns out my schedule changed due to the rain today and I'll be able to make it today after all. Stoked to finally check this place out!

Gotta say, I'm a little surprised with the limit on Child Support. They sold 87 cases last release and that was with no limit. I think there's a really good chance all 3 make it through the day, but @beernuts is the pro in terms of calling what will sell out first.

I think at this point it has to be motor memory for these people. They wake up on Tuesday and plan to go to lunch, the gym, shopping, work, etc around Noon or so and without realizing it they just happen to end up in Veil's parking lot. They can't remember anything before or even the impulse that got them there. Of course they have their folding chairs in the trunk from the previous week and figure since they are there why not sit and wait for 2 hours even knowing supply is plentiful. I really was hoping a storm would come through the area to see who stands their ground but looks like that is not going to happen.

Wow I'm a little surprised they sold out of ES the first day given there were 190 cases, I guess that no limit thing is working out for them.
