Any ideas on the 4th can release tomorrow? Veil Instagram left a very ominous emoji response to that question.

 

Case of the Mondays? Shit no man....but seriously I don't know of any professional work environments that allow someone to drop what they're doing on a whim and take a half day.

I'm an engineer, there are some days that I could do that if I don't have any afternoon meetings, deadlines, or just too much work. As long as you're getting your work done nobody is going to worry about where you are if you aren't in one afternoon.

 

are you allowed to drink while in line at Veil?

 

No and yes. Well, if it's 4 and you're in their parking lot, you can drink their draft beer.

Cheryl Cheryl is the double dry-hopped version of our sour IPA Cheryl from Accounting. The acidity on this batch turned out perfect. 6.4%, hopped with Galaxy, Enigma, and Citra. Cheryl Cheryl then received a huge double dry-hop of all Citra. Turned out super rad. We know you guys are going to be stoked on this one. Shooting for approx. 80-90 cases. $15+tax per 4-pack. 3x 4-packs per person

LOL Tho is an 8.5% 100% Amarillo Double IPA. Almost 8lbs/BBL of hops. We might have went a little over board tho! LOL This one turned out pretty crazy. Dank, fresh nectarines, bright grapefruit peel, a touch of pine, and resiny as all get out. Also, due to low yields from the canning process, we only ended up with 40 cases. We will be reducing the limit to 1x 4-pack per person. $15+tax per 4-pack.

Daddy's Home is our collab with our friends Other Half Brewing Company. Clocking in at 10.6% this Triple IPA is a beast! For 10.6%, the alcohol is dangerously hidden. Super juicy, and not overly sweet. Hopped intensely with Citra, Galaxy, and Simcoe. Aromatics of passionfruit, bright melon, dank grapefruit. This one came out cray cray. Amazing artwork again from Skirven & Croft. Shooting for approx. 165-180 cases. $17+tax per 4-pack. 4x 4-packs per person.

The 4th can for today's release will be the rerun of IdontwanttoBU with a new can design!
IdontwanttoBU is our 6.9% 0 IBU IPA hopped intensely with Citra and Mosaic. Extremely aromatic and full of citrusy, dank hops on the palate with 0 bitterness. Bright fresh grapefruit peel, passionfruit, calamansi. This batch came out awesome. Shooting for 195-215 cases. $13+tax per 4-pack. 1 case per person limit.

 

That Daddy's Home limit is too high. It will be gone around 6PM.

On a hyped release day like this, I think they should do Cheryl 2, LOL 1, Daddy's 3 and then the case of Idont. Also think that would help keep the line moving.

Should be fine between 2-3. They just lowered all limits!

 

Oh no! Those traders gonna be up in arms now. I personally always agree with lower limits so it keeps the trade vultures away from buying most of the product. As many people who personally show up for the release should be able to walk away with cans even if it may only be a few packs of each.

 

Totally agree. I've always thought they should do strict limits on Tuesdays and then open it up to no limits on Wednesday. If you show up on Tuesday, you should be able to get some cans.

 

There's apparently already some people in line. I don't think it's as much about the beer, as it's for Forever Summer tickets. People going crazy for those. It's nice they dropped the limits for sure. Guessing they saw how many people were there this morning, and adjusted accordingly. Can't blame them for that.

 

I agree to an extent - they haven't been selling out of the double batchx2 releases. But on a day like this - those limits look pretty good (they could have gone lower on Daddy's Home but I get they also want to move as much as possible in a given day).

It reminds me of Dirt Nap day - I can't think of a more hyped release than this OH collab. People lined up around 11AM that day so not a big difference here from that, though I don't disagree that there's probably some chance/hope that at 11AM or something they come out and say "everyone currently in line gets Forever Summer tickets."

 

Based on these numbers and the low end of the case count, the first 240 people will get their full allotment.

How many are lined up right now? Any body out there yet?
