My favorite beer of the year so far. Wish I had bought more!

I dig the One Claw as you do (and almost all their others), but the Gose style isn't my bag. If I remember correctly you're in the low country, I'm upstate in Gaffney. If I'm correct, you are located near the best brewery in our state. I'm near R J Rockers...LOL.

I actually haven't had a Gose in a while. So let's make it a 16oz can:


However, it hasn't been so long to really qualify for a Throwback Thursday beer, so it's good I am not drinking it tomorrow!!!


It might be a little stretch to get many retrying a Rolling Rock, but if that's what you want to do, you are by all means welcome!

Truthfully all you need to do is not have had a beer in a decent while, and want to try it again. Maybe you had one bad experience with a beer and want to give it a second chance. Maybe you had a go to beer that you lost distribution of when you left and area but it's hit your new location. Maybe you just got caught up in trying all the great (and no so great) new stuff out there.

Me? One of my beers is going to be a beer I always feel I can have at almost any time - it's fairly widely available. But I never buy it. So for my post I will:

• remind you of this,
• tell you what I recall about the beer (maybe with the help of my review, if I have one),
• and then actually drink the beer
• afterwards, I will let you know what I think,
• if/how I changed my rating/review,
  
• and whether I will look to purchase it more often than my current rate of close to never

That's about it. You can be as much of a storyteller as you want, but please try to give us all a little bit of narrative as to your revisit journey.

I hope more than a few beers re-spark some interest and/or at least spark a little conversation tomorrow. Hope to hear from you here at the virtual bar!!

I'm actually North Myrtle, a hundred miles north of CHS.

Well, actually I bought a 6er of it plus others at Green's in Columbia on Friday when heading to Savannah. Had two there and took a pic for today. I hear the voices when I'm dreaming...I can hear them say...

 

Ha! Can't blame him...It's kind of an intimidating setup, and the glass must have rebelled knowing it wasn't going to receive Kwak in its maiden voyage .

 

Karma Emulsion at Hill Farmstead. Great collab brew. Also had the Riwaka Single Hop Pale which is excellent.
