Rusticos seem to have them as well. More listed at Ballston than Alex.

 

There was a JWB tap takeover last Wednesday at Rustico.

(Unfortunately the good stuff is already long gone.)

 

Looks like it's only a JW hefe at Domionin and a poorly rated IPA from Bulldog.

Hope some of the JWB stouts and Berliners make their way up.

 

Bullfrog Edgar IPA is pretty tasty actually. 89 on BA and 3.78 on Untappd is poorly rated? Honestly, I don't give a shit about any ratings but that's not poor. It's not going to blow you away, but it's a very solid IPA. Try anything and everything - that's my motto. Completely ignore the ratings, and you may surprise yourself.

 

What's next? Are you going to try and tell me that people actually like hefeweizen?

 

Do Alesmith IPA 6-packs ever make it to VA? Any fresh ones around?

 

They have a different one on now Edgar kicked. Grapefruit Hopsphyxcitration. I agree with not taking ratings to seriously but I spent my first 8 years of drinking craft beer without any ratings. I drank a lot of bad beer over that time. With all of the choices we have now and all of the information we have readily available I would rather make an informed decision before making a purchase. But the great thing about Dominion is they dont mind giving out samples so you can decide for yourself before filling a growler.

 

Westover Market had some awhile back, and I think Lost Dog too. Neither place is known for fresh product, though.

Pretty sure Dominion had it too.

Did Black Note hit DC yet? Figured I missed it, but people in that NY thread are saying they just got it.

 

Anyone seen Stone Citracado in NoVA? Stone website says no planned deliveries when I put in my zip but I can't imagine we wouldn't get an anniversary beer.

 

A photo a few pages back showed it at WF P St, and it was at D'Vines the week before. I would assume it's come and gone in DC.

 

I thought that was WF Tenleytown? Has anyone else seen it?

 

I know that for Northern VA at least it hit about a week ago on varying days. I was told that 3 cases were the total allocation for the entire state, but who knows how legitimate that info was.
