How about that push with BC/GT? Great start to the season. Still holding strong in 2nd!

I know its early but I've seen plenty of people miss placing by one or two points, every game counts. @Vikings1201 and @MastaaaGrillaaa you lucked out. Forgot to make your picks for the GT/BC game but the game ended up in a push, hurry up and get in your other picks NOW!

Hate to see someone forget to make their picks for a week but it's happened and that person still almost placed in the top 3 by the end of the season.

I just now changed about half my picks! :astonished:
If I wasn't already, I'm now completely insane.

I'll tell you this, I'm done listening to these so called "analysts". I should have known better, I switched about half my picks last year listening to Herbie and lost most of them. Today, I drank the kool aid and switch to the Rajun Cajuns...they blow.

It's tough not letting them get in your head on picks...

So, since I made this when I was going straight-up instead of spread, it made more sense. I'm going to cancel it, since it doesn't make any sense now, but I'll think of something else fun starting week 2.

The last few games were brutal. I'm already planning my shipping strategy

Yep. I'd be in the losers bracket if there was one. I'm ready to put this week behind me and move on with my life. There's got to be more important things going on to fill my time other than football and beer :astonished:.
I gotta tell myself... "just make the picks and live the week like a normal person. Go do something next weekend besides sitting on the damn couch...and for god sakes get away from the f***ing computer." Errrr…maybe my wife said something like that to me last weekend. I really can't remember who said it now. I just want to be a winner…sniff..sniff. :slight_frown:

I just looked at week 2  this is gonna be brutal!

How do the 4 tiebreakers per week get used?

Good luck, I've been saying that exact same thing for a couple decades and nothing has changed. Luckily my wife doesnt give a shit and joins me most of the time but she doesnt start swearing and slamming shit around when someone misses an extra point.

Well fuck, if I had known Pitt was going to have Tony Dorsett and the rest of the 1976 National Championship team there today I would have picked them. That's gotta be a hug motivational factor in a rivalry game. It's obvious how much more jacked up the fans and players for Pitt are. Bastards.

I have not been this attentive to college football in years... teams I don't give a crap about... but I am like yelling at the tv when they screw something up and don't cover.

Wait until a backdoor cover happens on something meaningless, you will feel great (unless it is against you and you will feel angry)

Not the same situation but... I started the morning off 8-2 and feeling great... then I finished 1-9 on the last 10 games and felt pretty angry. I don't know if I can handle this for the next few months.

I hear ya, I went from 4th to 15th. I finally said today is the day and was going to flip a coin. Head was favorite, tails underdog. I started flippin and pickin', 6 out of my first seven were tails. I said fuck this and went back to picking them myself. I'll probably still end up worse off.

What a bunch of geniuses we all are! Every single one of us took Baylor last night to cover the 30+ jelly last night, and the one guy who didn't even make his pick had the same result.

Hello @turfy ! Please get your picks on for today's action!
