Drove by Washington street today. Looks like they have the permits in the window, I wonder how long until it opens.

I'd be much happier if they just had regular Trillium (at a normal price) than Hill Farmstead. And maybe some Treehouse

I can guarantee you no happy hours. Illegal in MA.

As someone who lives about 45 min from Brookline and Worcester, I'd much rather go to the bar where I can get a $7 Edward. I realize it's just speculation at this point, but $12 pale ales could mean $14-$15 DIPAs. That's not a trend that I'd be willing to get behind.

That was the (not so great) joke.

I'd spend that difference in tolls and gas easily trying to get to Worcester........

Sure if you're equidistant between the two. I'm pretty sure the center of population density between Brookline and Worcester is somewhere around Newton though...

Hmmmm, what do I do? Walk 7 minutes to the Publick House, or 15 to Worthy Burger? Decisions Decisions!

So, I walked by 202 Washington today and the permits in the window say it's a dumpster for Village works and the lease is up November 15th. I talked to people in a restaurant down the street and it doesn't sound like Worthy Kitchen is coming. If somebody has more info please inform us.

Maybe it's the uber hipster Worthy Dumpster?

Wow. Mind blowing concept. You get your beer in a brown paper bag, you pickup the food order in the delivery dumpster out back, and you have to eat and drink in the alley. And the bathrooms... don't ask. And they take reservations, booked months in advance.

Yeah, had a hard time with that one as my better half isn't crazy about it for some reason, and Worthy Burger will also be a solo trip for me unless they have decent vege burgers and wine for her...gotta love the opposites attract thing...!

Just make sure you park the Range Rover your parents are leasing for you around the corner. It is Brookline after all.

This thread has taken an interesting turn. back to the actual restaurant! I remember reading somewhere on eater boston's website this summer that it was still chugging along but it was fairly vague. Is there anyone who could shed some light on any potential progress?

I tweeted at the author of the article yesterday to see if he/she could provide an update. Nothing to report yet.

Same with my SO! She was pumped to hear that she could have it again, much closer to home.

Assume she likes Barcelona Wine and Tapas? At least you can walk over to Publick house. We used to live on Tappan Street when American Craft was open. That was glorious.
