I just tried a six month old one that had gotten buried in my beer fridge. Still extremely drinkable, but I do wish I'd had a fresh one to compare side by side.

Makes sense, as that reflects the reality of last year, but hype seems to have grown exponentially since then too. I am probably missing something very obvious, but why would it not be released on a Wednesday? Also, thanks for the reply!

It's growler only and Wednesdays are cans only

Is Good Morning typically a September release? Is there a pattern to when they release rare stuff in general?

No pattern. It's usually brewed/released when it gets a little colder out. It will almost certainly be a silent/minimal notice drop whenever it happens next.

Thanks! With KJ this time they posted on twitter around the time they opened . . . it would be really exciting if they only told people as they got in line!

Why would that be exciting? Thirty seconds after they announced it to the line, someone would post it in this thread. Not much of a difference.

A really cool surprise for the people in line though!

They do this from time to time. The first canned batch of Very Hazy was like this, as were Native 1 and 2. Can confirm, it's a pretty cool surprise.

The nice thing about GM is with it supposed to be draft only forever/the foreseeable future, it will probably be a surprise release the day it first goes on and then stay on for several days if the 350 growler card limit stays in effect.

Yeah, I guess I imagine more people checking the Tree House twitter page to see what's selling that day rather than coming here.

GM was released 4 times last year at roughly 3 month intervals.

And zero times this year. What's your point?

Doesn't seem to be much of a pattern for anything, even their staple beers. There was a vague pattern of Julius/Green alternating every other week a while back, but once a few of us caught on, Nate put an end to that real quick.

Also, there really isn't much data. Their bigger releases have only happened a handful of times, and with sample sizes that small, your stats professor would have a stroke watching you try to analyze and discern a pattern.

Both are unreal. Also have the Julius from last week, and today's is so much better!

Good Morning released the week of the 5k is my guess and would be a perfect pint for after a run on a Sunday morning. Hope you're listening Nate
